Okay, sorry for the lenghty delay but it's been a madhouse round here for the last... blimey, that's almost a month. No matter, because we've picked a winner. A lot of you simply suggested we sell stuff cheaper, or 'knock off a tenner to make it look good' which isn't really very productive - what we were looking for was a mixture of suggestions for new products, and how best to promote the ones we have. And the person who did that the best was...
DeltaJava.
Well done matey, you win a Game or DVD of your choice up to the value of £50. He suggested we take a look at our prices of stuff like Encarta and Paintshop Pro, compared to other retailers, and tipped us off about some new products to stock like USB2.0 and more TV cards. Basically, his collection of suggestions was the most complete, and for that, he is rewarded. If you scroll back through the topic, his posts are highlighted in yellow.
Anyway, thanks to the rest of you for all of your posts, we'll take the into consideration. Even the ones about boobs and stuff. You kids. Complaints to the usual address, I'll ignore them like I always do.

Here's a really good chance to sl*g off SR.
Take a look at our range of PC parts and peripherals. i.e. anything which works in, with or connects to a PC.
What's missing from the range?
Where are we out of date or over-priced?
Which descriptions fail to do justice to the products?
For example you could tell us that our A03 drives are out of date and over priced and that we should be selling the A04. (posted by Bonzo Banana did yesterday)
You do NOT need to post all of your suggestion in one post. ALL of your posts will be added together for the selection process.
Closes Thursday August 1st.
Mr Snuuuuggly will extract the thread and pass it to our PC Buyers who will say 'Oh my God, what clever customers we have'. They (the un-named and un-shamed) will determine the winner.
Winner gets a full GAD prize. Only one winner folks.
(er-thanks in advance guys. And none of those "getting us to do their work" jibes PLEASE!)

Your 128meg SDRAM is £22.99 yet your competetors are knocking it out at £17.99.
You probably have to pay about £5 or more postage & packing with the competetors though.
I know the price fluctuates more or less on a daily rate but I do feel you're not being competitive enough. Your 128meg SDRAM is £22.99 yet your competetors are knocking it out at £17.99.
Most of them are used to mod PC's, and while I myself wouldn't mod my computer to some of the extremes some people do, there are some good if not vital component you could get, which would make anyone's PC look so much better than the dull grey colour people are used to. Basically, accessories to customize PC’s in an aesthetic way as well as a useful one.
Check out the link below for some examples of what I'm talking about.

oooh sell cubase VST!!! and some other music/sound related software, and keyboards, yeah.
Your MAXX PC range could do with some 512Mb/80Gb Hard drive standard with Network cards.
Maybe with a better choice of monitor upgrades too, I don't like the AOC range, they're great for budgets, but if it's only £30 or so I don't think anyone would mind paying that for a better quality monitor.
My sister wanted one a while back, took a look in your magazine and all you had was PC's and normal PC Laptops running Windows.
I'm sure my printer is about 1.5 metres from my PC, and if it was having to go under, over and round things to get to the PC, that might be too short. Longer, and possibly even a shorter lead than 1.8 needed.
:D
(The room my PC is in has 2 computers and a laptop, and the PC that I am using right now is on the opposite side of the table from the printer, in case anyone was wondering how I could possibly use a printer nearly 2 metres away.
