Denmark could be without leading scorer Jon Dahl Tomasson for the clash against England on Saturday.
Reports from the Far East suggest Tomasson has been carrying a thigh injury for a while.

Tomasson, who has scored three goals in his side's three group games, missed Thursday's training session, as did Sunderland goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen.

Former Denmark international Jan Molby said: "It's a massive blow for Denmark.

"All indications are that he will probably miss the game, He is the only player we can't do without.

"He has has been in sensational form and he is a first-class finisher. A Danish team without Jon Dahl would not be the same."

Bolton midfielder Stig Tofting is also an injury worry but Molby believes the Denmark hard-man will battle through to pull on the shirt against England.

"We don't want to be without either of our strong players in midfield but the big worry is Jon Dahl," the former Liverpool midfielder told Sky Sports News.

"If we are without Jon Dahl then it will certainly give England a boost. It will make it more difficult without Jon Dahl being there."

At leats they got through the first round. Whereas the team you fell "a strong link" with failed. Perhaps you'll strongly identify with Brazil next?

I personally feel a strong link with Senegal. It begins with an S.

It's ok, we've got a radio where we have our breaks, and a TV in the shop.
When I can, i'll try and sneak into the shop to watch some of the games.
Either way, i'll be kept informed some way or other.

Great news for us if Tomasson isn't playing.
We've all seen his form so far in the tournament, and we all know how important he's been for his country. But they still may have other strikers we don't know about - ready to come on and do some damage.

What about Sorenson though??
That just said that he didn't turn-up for training - there's no reason as to 'why' or anything!
If he doesn't play against England then our chances are very high indeed!
Maybe Owen could actually score with a reserve keeper in place!!

It should be a great match either way - who knows who'll win it???
I know one thing though... i'm working on Saturday and so i'll miss it. :(
