A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

i'm at the same stage as you now Jive. I just beat that dammened Junalesca. Anyway i've found two interesting places. One was the waterfall in Besaid - search for it on map, there was a chest with a cool weapon for Khimari. I also found some place where i found a shield for Lulu which has three elemental eaters on it - this is so damn cool as not much magic can hurt her now, she just eats it into hit points!

Ah I get what you mean now, I don't think I've come across Earth Eater yet so will look out for him, cheers.

I think I'll go and get some more money, more fights = more levelling up and I'll sell a few of my rubbish weapons. Oh joy of joys ;D

I know you can find them Fortune Spheres in chests occassionally but what I was meaning is that the only place I know you can repeatedly get Fortune Spheres is by defeating Earth Eater. Once you have taken the sphere from a chest it never comes back.

You CAN offer him less that he asks (I got him for 215,000) but 65,000 seems a bit low. He'll probbly say: "You expect the Pheonix but only offer chicken feed."

Ah but that's not true, just after I'd made my post, I found a Fortune Sphere in one of the chests in the caves before you beat Yojimbo the first time.....which incidentally was a piece of cake.

Now for another question which I'm sure has been asked and I looked yesterday but couldn't find it.

When you meet Yojimbo he asks you to give him 300,000 Gil but I only have 65,000 at the moment, yes I've bought alot of equipment and not sold any yet.

Is it a good idea to go and get the money or can I offer him less?

You're the type of person I hate. :-D

I'd kill you if you did that to me. What did he say?

Anyway, I have all the celestial weapons. They are all powered upo fulyl except for Lulu's and Kimarhi's but I have a Break Damage Limit weapon for Lulu anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

What does Luck actually do? I have a very high luck with Yuna and therefore with all my Aeons too, but I don't know what it actually does.

Anyway, you get Fortune Spheres when you defeat Earth Eater in the arena. That's the only way I know how to get any.
