A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

It's surprising how much I rely on Yuna in battle. I need her Cure and Cura abilities. There's gotta be a Curaga too but I don't have that yet.

The only thing that got me through all those battles was the Al Bhed potions which I had 82 of. I now have 59. :-D

And I also used about 4 mega-potions.

Still, I made it to the save sphere. I'm happy. I wanna get back from my English exam tomorrow and just play play play.

Yeah I just got past that bit. There was no save sphere for about an hour and 15 minutes! After that huge boss, I was expecting a save sphere but there wasn't one and I had to do another 8 fights or so. I was extremely close to dying on one of them. That thing did the huge kick on two of my characters, sending them flying off the screen. Luckily I had an overdrive with Riku, mixed 2 grenades and killed it. Phew. I was so relieved when I saw the save sphere.

And it's great news about those FFX add-on discs. They better be released over here.

OK.

Take the two spheres as you enter and put them in the door, opening it. Next, push the pedestal under the one on the ceiling. Then, take the two spheres in the room and put them in the two gaps in the wall, charging the sphere in the pedestal. Take the charged sphere and put it in the hole to the right of the door, opening it. Then, take the two spheres from the wall and place them in the pedestal, and push the pedestal into the electricity in th opassage you just opened. Jump on the hovering pedestal and push the other one. Jump back and step on the light, resetting the pedestal. The charged sphere should be taken out and put in the hiole to the LEFT of the door you took it from. Take the two spheres from the pedestal, and go right back to where you started and put them there. The symbol on the floor should light up, opening a lift!

Final Fantasy 5 was the first Final Fantasy game to be released in Europe (I think). Originally, that is. Its fitting considering the DVD is Europe-specific.

If that isn't the reason, I don't know what is.

And I don't have the airship :(

I wonder why the Final Fantasy 10 DVD history starts at FF5 not at FF1 or even FF4, considering 4 is the first one you can get on the playstation. FF5 seems a random place to start, can anyone shed any light on it?
