A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

It doesn't wrap everything up. If you're up to Mt. Gagazet or further, you can guess what happens, but then it kind of doesn't. I won't go into any more detail, because it would spoil it, but it actually leaves the game open to more thought than anything else. Whereas games such as FF7, 8, and 9 actually finish the story, FF10 doesn't. And if you've seen the extra ending, you'll join me in the belief that FF10 was purposefully incomplete so that people would buy the expansion packs...

The FF10 ending sucks, and is the shortest of all the Final Fantasies. It is absolutely aweful. It isn't even an ending. Its just like one of those sequences you get when you finish a boss. One scene. All FMV, but still very short and boring, not an ending worthy of Final Fantasy games. Now, if only the extra special ending was tagged on the end, then it would be OK. (PS, I have that on my PC!)

The ending is pretty long, but probably not 30 minutes.

102 hours, eh? Well, I've been playing 140 hours and I've not completed it 100% yet. Although I can't complete it 100%. I have 23 of the 26 Al Bhed Primers and the last 3 I missed in Home. Grrrr...

Tomorrow morning, approx. 0800 hours I shall finish FFX 100% with about 102 hours on the clock.

Can anyone say how long the ending is. I'm hoping for over 30 mins.

Ooh, I just love finishing an FF, everything wraps up nicely and the world is safe.
Then you get that weird feeling in your stomach like you really want to talk to someone about it. Just like when you finish a really good book.

I'm sweating heavily with anticipation. No, wait, that's perspiration ; )

Of course when I desperately needed level 3 and 4 keys in order to continue my characters along their paths on the sphere grid, I had no idea about the bribe function. That meant my characters did not upgrade for quote a while.

I give my knowledge to you to help in your quest for eternal nourishment. Or something.

Level 1, 2 and 3 can be found in Omega Dungeon when defeating enemies. That is if you can access Omega Dungeon yet.

As for level 4 spheres, if you bribe a Chimera Brain in the Calm Lands with a certain amount of money then he will give you 2 level 4 spheres. I can't remember the exact amount but I think it's around the 200,000 Gil mark.

In Omega Dungeon you can also bribe a Demonolith to get 40 Level 3 Keys. Pay him 900,000Gil.

Oh and the best place to get money is in Omega Dungeon (if you can't access it at the moment I imagine you'll be getting quite annoyed :-D). When you fight a mimic, you will get 50,000 Gil at the end of the battle. If someone in your party has Gillionaire then that doubles to 100,000.
