A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

I know!!! Its the same with me. My Bahamut whipped all of them in just one move. It was more boring than anything else, repeatedly kicking the crap out of them.

You can tell they didn't play it through to the end - all the screenshots are from the first few hours except maybe one or two pictures they got off the internet. You can tell they did, because the characters' names are in Japanese!!!

I would be scared if you lived near me. But since you probably live miles and miles away, I don't feel threatened at all. Phew!

Anyway, I've never seen you post in this topic before. Do you just read my posts and sit back waiting? Do you stalk me?

I'm doing exams too but that hasn't stopped me from playing for 85 hours. :-D

And I'd just like to say that I know the reason why you like reading what I have to say! Shall I tell you? It's because you find me irresistable. Face it! You know it to be true. :-D

I got 30 of a certain item as well last night which allowed me to upgrade a piece of armor to have Break HP limit. However, that ability takes the full 30 so I can only have it with one character at the moment. That character is Wakka since he has the most HP (11,500 I think).

And at Remiem Temple, I cannot believe how easy that woman's Aeons are. Every single one up to Shiva I just summoned Bahamut and did one attack. That one normal attack took 37,000HP off each Aeon. When it came to Shiva, I did the normal attack again but I knew she might evade it since she is very fast. She did but since my Bahamut is very agile as well as powerful, I had another attack before she did. So I did the impulse which took 49,000HP off her! Then she summoned Bahamut so I couldn't use my own Bahamut. Instead, I called Yojimbo. It took a fair few hits to kill him since my Yojimbo can take a maximum of 9999HP with one attack, but he didn't even hit me as Yojimbo's evasion is immense! The last one was Yojimbo. I called Bahamut again, did the Impulse move and took 47,000HP. I don't have more Aeons than that so I couldn't fight any more.

Still, I'm so close to that other Aeon that I want. It could be Anima. Ooooohhh....

Vottanator, for some reason I love reading your reports on FFX and how far you've got...

I think it's because I'm doing exams and its like I'm playing.

Or maybe its just a little mental problem...

Well I've been going for 85 hours now but I refuse to complete it. I know I'm right at the end but when I died on a boss, I didn't refight him. Instead, I went and did laods of sub quests. And that was about 30 hours ago. I may give the boss another try now, but I'm getting so into so many of the sub quests that I don't want to.

Holy crap, just finished final fantasy 10 after a mammoth 50 hours... I must say the ending is absolutely incredible, i actually had to contain myself from crying, it was that emotional. All I have to say is to people who have given this game scores such as 8/10 (e.g. official PS2 mag), then you seriously have not considered how involving and exciting it is. It was like watching a movie---only you could play it!!!

I got the Cloudy Mirror last night and then turned it into the Celestial Mirror. Then I went to unlock 3 chests with it and I got a weapon for each of my characters. One for Auron, one for Yuna and one for Rikku. Each weapon had 4 slots on, only one of which filled. However, it was filled with 'No AP' which isn't exactly the best ability to have. Also, I cannot customise it any firther even though it has a further 3 empty slots. The weapons do look really cool but that's it. The only thing I can think of is taht they are really good when you equip them with a certain piece of armor.

Sheesh man, nice to know I am not the only one feeling this way. Not that I have anything against them-I do support them all teh time but this tournament-I just want to see them get beat. I wont be able to put up with everyone for another 4 years-we are the best, we won that, we won this, we rule etc. grrrrrr. PLus Brazil are almost my favourite team in the world so cmon lads.

OK, so far I'm about to enter the command centre with that Seymour geezer, and I've played for 12 hours. Am I on track?

My first impressions of the game are that it's simply amazing, and the lip synching and borders are stupid criticisms for such a wonderful game. If there's anyone out there who still hasn't bought it because of these reasons, forget them and buy it now!
