For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.
You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.
Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.
Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.
Anyway, I tried another levelling up strategy I found on the internet, and as warned it didn't work. If it did have... drool, but it only works in the Jap version.
Annoying.
At the moment I really want to revisit the temples and get all the celestial weapons etc. but I can't beat any of the dark aeons yet since my people aren't strong enough. I'm kind of stuck in a rut and the only way out is to do more levelling up. Dagnabit!
I missed the first 6 minutes as I was setting up some Muse downloads on Kazaa and when I turn on the TV (before the picture has even shown up!) I hear John Motson's incredibly annoying voice saying something about a second goal. The 5th minute!
I didn't realise it was on ITV either or I would have never watched it on the BBC. And what Ian Wright was doing to Peter Schmeichel at half time was out of order. Ian Wright can't take it but he has no problem dishing it out. Schmeichel should have just gotten up and thumped him. It must have been hell for him among those tw@ts.
Wright, Hanson and Motson need a good head kicking. The lot of them.
Brazil better not lose to Belgium or I might suffer a rather severe heart attack. Igf Brazil go through only to be beaten by England then I WILL suffer a rather severe heart attack. However, I'm pretty confident that Brazil will go though and beat England. Then again, I have been confident of both Argentina and Denmark beating them too. Although they couldn't beat Argentina fairly so that's okay. I'm just hopnig Brazil destroy them now. If England get anywhere near that World Cup, the next few months of my life are going to be hell.
That Germany match sucked! I'd have loved to see Chilavert score from a freekick in the last minute or so. There would be a tremendous bundle! Perhaps one that would even surpass Spain's ultimate bundle in Euro 2000.
Ahhhh well, I have a great deal of TV to watch today. The boxing, the England match, the Bill Paxton film and I'm sure there is something else too. In fact, I think there may be some Muse thing on Sky today. I'll have to go round my mates for that though since I don't have sky!

I have Yojimbo but not Anima. However, I am very close to getting another Aeon. I just need to get back into Bevelle. I need the chest from the damn temple. The most annoying thing is that I saw the chest the first time through and actualy stopped to think, "should I bother to go get it or not?" I decided I couldn't be bothered but then when walking up the corridor to the chamber of the fayth I changed my mind. But before I could turn back to go get it, a cut scene started and when it ended I was in another place altogether! Oh how I regret missing that chest. I better be able to get back into Bevelle later!
*cough* England are out *cough*

I know that you can get that ability on armor but how? What items do you need because it hasn't shown up on my customise menu.
And that goddamm standard deviation question realy annoymed me too. I realise now that I got part of the second half wrong because I just made a stoopid mistake but I'm pretty confident of the first half. The thing is I have never known the formula for S.D ever. We were never taught it in a formula way. We just taught a method of how to do it. To use this method though, you need each piece of data which is ALWAYS given. Except in this exam. So I was sitting there at a loss, skipped the question and then went back to it at the end when I had loads of times, worked out the formula as best I could and then did it. It looked right. And I am the daddy I suppose. :-D

You can get around this by equipping a weapon with the Break HP limit ability, allowing you to get more than 9999HP. Mmmm... HP sauce.

Yeah, I found it quite annoying. Loads of people couldn't do the standard deviation or the last question on probability. I could though, naturally :). It needed the formula nCr to work out the number of different ways, then you multiply by the probability. Funny thing is, nobody could do it because our class wasn't taught it. It was only a fluke that I asked a supply teacher one lesson and she told me what to do. Also, that histogram one was aweful. It wasn't done correctly which really annoyed me.
I got 39/40 on the coursework which makes me sound like a real boffin. There was one guy in my class that got 3/40. But thats another story.
I hate Standard deviation.
