A little disapointed to be honest. I know i have only played it for an hour and a half so far, but to be honest at the moment it doesnt feel like i have done anything apart from watched with a little bit of walking and really really easy fights in between.

For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.

You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.

Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.

Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

Same here. Killed Ifrit three times now and Ixian once but I always get crap weapons. Never armour. At least if I got Break Damage Limit for Wakka I may continue since that will do me nicely until I get his sigil.

For levelling up, Omega Ruins is a good place to do it. You have to search the world map to make it appear on the list. I can't rememebr where to search though.

Another way is to capture all the enemies in the Sunken Cave (where you get Yojimbo). Then go the arena, equip characters with Overdrive - AP weapons, set overdrive mode to stoic and fight Don Tonberry.

As for the Aeons, Yojimbo is found in the sunken cave. Near the Calm Lands.

Anima is found in Baaj Temple. You have to find 6 chests in 6 Cloister of Trials and then go to Baaj Temple. Just search the map down the bottom left.

Get Anima then either ask or search yourself for the final Aeon(s).

And i found that out pretty bluntly! I walked in there fairly confident that my party was strong, and really thought i would win. Dark Bahamat gets his first go and uses his normal attack - 99999 damage - my jaw dropped. He then did that again to my 2nd member...and then my third all in a row without me having a go. It was a very short battle!

Now i decided that i would try the Ixion on the Thunder plains, same story really.

Looks like there is some serious leveling up to do.

Can anyone tell me where i might find some of these extra Aeons by the way and where the best place to level up is?
