5 Questions the Lost Writers Need to Answer (And Why They Won't)
> Like the fact Michael and Walt managed to get back to America.
> How exactly? Did they sail all the way?
I doubt that. Ben most likely arranged for them to be picked up and changed their names so they didnt gain any publicity.
> Michael is unable to kill himself, well we don't really know
> that
Well he drove at high speed into a shipping crater and escaped unharmed, he also tried to shoot himself 2 or 3 times. Its safe to assume he's not able to kill himself.

No suprise, he wasn't known as Big Gay Tom for no reason. He got back on the submarine before John destroyed it.
> Do you really think he's telling Michael the truth?
Of course not. He'll manipulate Michael until he's of no further use.
> That it wasn't him that put the plane down there?
> We've already seen that Ben easily has the money and resources to
> do something like that.
No thats probably true. It's Jim Ramsey who is responsible for the fake plane.
Like the fact Michael and Walt managed to get back to America. How exactly? Did they sail all the way?
Michael is unable to kill himself, well we don't really know that, it's only the gun that jammed it's not like we saw him fire the gun at something else and a bullet came out. That guy said he'd been following him since he left so I'm sure they were right there when he tried to kill himself. So that's how he got to the hospital.
That guy who pretended to be a bearded pirate is gay. Nothing really important about this fact but I guess it does show that they seem to have lives on and off the island. How did he get back anyway I thought the submarine was destroyed?
What we saw at the end of the episode is important, like Nin said Ben has and will always be a [CENSORED]. He loves to trick and manipulate people, do you really think he's telling Michael the truth? That it wasn't him that put the plane down there? We've already seen that Ben easily has the money and resources to do something like that.
As for them messing around shooting stuff, well what do you except? These people are guns for hire, they've got the 'Others' to worry about. The real people who want to keep the island a secret.

Hmm, good point. It really didn't take much to convince her that she should leave with her daughter.

Hope so.

I was hoping the lack of people talking about this meant it wasn't true! Oh well, it gives me time (ok, 40 odd minutes a week) to catch up on tons of other stuff I've been meaning to watch for months.
4 weeks isn't too bad, as long as when it returns they actually start answering questions without asking 5 new ones.
Oh dear we should have expected that, Ben only likes his daughter, he doesnt like her boyfriend or her mum so of course he'd want to get rid of them. Now that I think about it, it doesnt really seem believeable does it? The 'Others' tried to go after the boyfriend before and why in the hell would the French woman leave people she grew to trust to go to another group she has been avoiding like the plague. Are you forgetting how she captured Ben and wanted to kill him?
I'm pretty sure they're both dead, there are too many characters as it is, time to get rid of some.

I wonder why none of you have mentioned the fact that there's no more episodes for another 4 weeks. Oh well it's better than 4 months, right? :D

How can you not like Ben??
He's excellently freaky, they chose a great actor for his character. He's one of my favourites for sure.
> Who says she's dead? Maybe the bullet wound wasn't fatal.
True, she looked kinda instantly dead though. Maybe she'll do a Mikhael (the eyepatch bloke who refused to die many times) on us.
I liked this episode though, I thought it was one of the better ones this season.
I was sure that when Sayid 'outed' Michael to the captain he was about to turn around and say "I know" and end up working for Ben as well, oh well I'm sure the're 30-odd more episodes for that bombshell!
Can't beleive Rossoau (sp?) has been killed, thought she was getting her own episode soon?
