Nice job,Hamilton deserved the title IMO.Did feel sorry for Massa though, cruel to think for 30 seconds you are world champion only to find out your not.

Fantastic stuff, really thought it had slipped away from him again! Well done Lewis!

That has to be the most intense end to a Grand Prix I think I've ever seen. Full thoughts in my review of the season (which will be pretty long) in the next few days.

So, Brazil this weekend and rain (or at least showers) forecast. The smart money would be on Massa or Kovalainen to go for the win but Hamilton likes to win. I would probably go for a Ferrari 1-2 with Hamilton in 3rd but who knows. Pressure does crazy things as does the weather.

I wonder if had it been Kovalainen giving up his position to Hamilton so he could get more points the stewards would have penalised them for it...

I got up an hour earlier to watch the Moto GP first,at least that was a race.China F1 was a real bore-a-thon,and where the hell was Massa ?.Some potential world champion,he was totally anonymous until he pulled that 'stunning pass' on his team mate ! (who pretty much had to park up and wait for him). It's surely Hamilton's title now,he just needs to stay out of trouble in Brazil.

Not a stellar race. Hamilton was easily the fastest and deserved to win. It's win or bust really for Massa now but I think McLaren, with the Kovalainen retirement, will be looking for Kovy to take the win away from Massa.

Should be an interesting Grand Prix. Depends on the weather but Hamilton is left open to a Ferrari challenge as Kovalainen failed to get in front of them.

Kubica needs a lot of help if he is going to be in the title hunt at the end of the race.

So Hamilton would have a 20 point lead with 20 points available.Meaning he would only be 1 point away from being world champion, regardless of how Massa scores in the final races.I was going to change my avatar but reckon I will keep it for a bit longer!.There has been none of this crap in Moto GP or World Superbikes, just good old fashioned wheel to wheel racing. Both series have been very exciting and produced worthy and totally respected world champions. If Massa is gifted the F1 crown due to the ridiculous penalties handed out to his opponents he will not be a worthy world champion IMO.

Planet F1 did an interesting article. Hamilton would have been 93-73 up on Massa if it hadn't of been for the meddling of the FIA.
