Xbox : THE size of a huge VCR - the first thing that puts u off it. Only one good game at launch - HALO ( also coming on pc soon). YOu have to pay an extra £27 just for the dvd controller. The control pad is bigger than Dc's and is uncomfortable, with those four crap "jewel buttons"
and of course..the price-£299...wtf! gamecube is only £165, and with PS2 at £199, that makes best choice, with greats games such as MGS2, and GTA3
face it..xbox is only gonna be boughy by ppl with too much cash to burn, thinking that higher specs win..that is not the case!
ps2 has a great range of platinum titles already, and GC will be bought by lots of children. Microsoft also have no experience at all in making consoles.
Previously the N64 had higher specs than Playstation, but playstaion won in the end. With loads of PSone owners, they will upgrade to Xbox.

Ever see Destruction Derby on PS1 ? Thats basically what Crash is. Basically you race along and smash up opponents. Theres a few extra things like jumping buses, etc in there too which should be pretty fun to mess around with. :-)

That pretty much sums up the X Box. The X Box is great value because you couldn't get a P.C with that spec for £300(OK you can do more on a PC) but the X Box has great games the PS2 doesn't and the good PS2 games will come out on the X box as it can handle them but the PS2 can't handle the X Box games.

Yeah I've always hated that about PC's. No matter how much you upgrade, you'll play a game and it never seems to fail to crash on you. Lost count of the amount of times I've spent ages on a game only for it to crash and hours of progress have been lost.
Thats why I tend to stick to consoles for games because its a rare thing to have a console game crash on you.

Good point there mate I hate having to upgrade all the time and now thanks to console I can finally become a hardcore gamer

Good point there mate I hate having to upgrade all the time and now thanks to console I can finally become a hardcore gamer
