I was going through the archive earlier and came across Turbo’s Web Design Pledge. Although I can vaguely remember this when it happened, I thought nothing of it, but upon reading it again, something really caught my eye.

“However, the forum is just being "used". Where as forums like the FOG are ever-popular, with people visiting regularly and generally having fun, the Web Design forum is merely being "used" for question and such like. Well, no longer! I want to turn this forum into a proper community.”

He is right here, this forum is only really used by people wanting questions answered, but I think that this forum is probably the best on the site. Mainly because nearly everyone in here knows what they are talking about. But I don’t like how the forum is used just for questions.

So here is what I propose, we use this thread for general chat. Not just web design, anything at all. Since not many people pass through this forum anymore, it won’t get spammed up too much, it’ll just be a place where people can go to be themselves.

If it doesn’t work, then fine. I just think this thread will be able to make this forum more of a community.

So… what’s up everyone? :0)

Yeah, cheers. It's got a lot better now. Should be able to play football soon and that's all I really care about :D. I think the morale boost of getting my Nirvana Unplugged CD will complete the recovery :D.

I've used 98SE before but not 2000. I was going to use 2000 but ended up going for ME. ME doesn't crash nearly as much as 98 but I'm not sure about 2000. Sorry.

Oh, and while I'm here, anyone got Win2000???? If so, how does it differ from Win98SE??? In terms of compatibilty with software, how many times it crashes, etc... :o) Oh, and I expect it does, but does Win2000 have that 'Windows Update' like Win98?

Ahh, the toe is better now, not at full fitness but better :D. I should be able to play football now so I'll see how much pain it causes me when I kick the ball tomorrow.

It's sod's law that someone will probably boot my toe though, ahh well :D.

I've got a broken toe which is quite annoying. Might be going to play football later though, so I'm expecting it to double in size. Don't think I should though but what the hell :D.

we're getting some coolmaster cases in at my college, thats the stupid thing about them, they get all the flashy stuff right at the end of our course! bah, got some Technics 1210s in last week, ooh la la, I didn't know they were ran by magnets, my crappy little turntables have the funniest drives, oh dear.
