Anyone else fed up of waiting for their email to be fixed- why do Freeola not put out realistic status? Last was 3 hours ago saying will be fixed in 1-2 hours.

I take it you are not referring to my analogy as abusive?

There is no need for abusive language. That will not solve anything.
I appreciate that this is totally unacceptable but we are not simply sitting around doing nothing about this. We are working to get service back as quick as we can but cannot give a definite time.

24 hours with no email yesterday - it was back this morning now down again. Do Freeola realise some of us are paying them handsomly for this service and that we do not want to hear that their supplier has a problem. All we want to know is when it will be fixed permanently - it's hardly rocket science is it? Maybe they'd like to share some of the compensation they get from their supplier with us or get their supplier to pull their finger out? Or should that last comment be politely aimed at Freeola?

Hi Sarah and welcome to the forums.
Don't change anything at your end your problem is all to do with the current outage.

Visit the Status Page and retry your email when the services are showing as running/green.

Oh dear, should we expect another 30 hours without email - I sent an email (from alternate address that is also free but works continuously) to key people to say email was down, then another to say it was back up - so now I must send another to say it is down?

It's worse than a w****'s pants!

Hi, I use my freeola account for my business and was wondering if you could help me out with this error:

Server: 'mail.freeola.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060

Since yesterday I have been unable to send or receive email messages for my windows live email account. The connection with freeola's incoming server has failed and also the socket 10060.

I have two different laptops that use this freeola account both were working 3 days ago and now both have the exact same error.

How do we get freeola to turn the sockets back on or get our incoming server working?

What can be done to rectify this?

I would appreciate your help or advice on explaining this issue..

Thanks,

Sarah

Yes I know Hmmm...., really sorry. Our issue isn't even the transits, we're simply not getting connectivity at the ports we're connected to, almost as if we've just been switched off!

My first clue was one of my 'client apology' emails got stuck in my outbox...!

I see some providers have managed to switch 'IP transits' are these things you can explore?

I've spent most of this week (trying to) explain to people it's not directly a Freeola issue but as you can imagine it's not easy...

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
My website looks tremendous!
Fantastic site, easy to follow, simple guides... impressed with whole package. My website looks tremendous. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to set this up, Freeola helps you step-by-step.
