Managed to lock myself outta my flat today. So to pass the time, I went down town with a couple mates, and then went to my mates flat and played Eternal Darkness!

Dunno what my mates were talking about when they said it was rubbish. And STUPID comments like "It doesn't look as nice as Resi Evil!" Well durr, it hasn't got prerendered backdrops. They're proper 3D jobs.

Anyways, it's a great game. The graphics are good, the sound and voices are superb. The character movement is pretty decent for a game. The fight system is really good. The going insane is pretty wicked. Specially when you start going quite nuts, cos the camera starts to tilt and you get really odd camera angles which just add a great effect/feeling to the game.

I'll leave it there for now. Leave the rest for my review!

:)

Try lighting a fart, I find that tactic tends to work.

Cheers Parr - past that now though, cracked it last night.

*** More possible spoilers for Chapter 9 Act 3 ***

What I need help with now is the big guardian beast on Chapter 9 Act 3. I've used red Magickal Attack on it until it starts summoning Zombies, but after that they seem to have no effect.

What's next? Change colour of attack?

Well if you use a reveal invisible spell on the chest using our opposite colour.

E.g.

Red beats Green
Green beats Blue
Blue beats red

Then it will reveal a key hole!

Also do not worry about the telescope bit. It is done right at the VERY END

I'm on Chapter 6, Act 1, and I appear to be stuck!

I have two puzzles - one is the telescope. I know pretty much what is required, but not how to achieve it - the handles on the telescope don't seem to do anything.

The other is the dresser - what spell or item opens it?

I presume that solving one of these will assist with the other - probably the dresser first?

Advice?

I'm not so keen to run for my life through a maze of rooms with a 3 minute time limit before the entire place explodes. (Chapter 11) I have the enchanted gladius but I can't use it yet, probably not until Alex gets hold of it in the mail.
