Just got an Email ayt 3:35 am :) You have to pay £42.99 plus £3 p+p. So just filling in the info. Hopefully get it by Monday, maybe tommorow if MS are fast on there feet.

Was reading the newsgroups. Apparently, the kit is despatched from Germany, which explains the 3 days for it to be sent out, then the 14 days for delivery.
Don't take this as the absolute truth, because I'm just passing on information, but someone rang up the MS helpline to find out more. They said once despatched it will take more like 10 days to get to your house, and 'order submitted' means it's been sent off to the warehouse and will be despatched soon.
But don't be surprised if it comes earlier, you can't rely on the helpline, as we've all learnt :)
Still, no Xbox Live for me :-(

My stupid comp has had trouble with that - so has my friends. Apparently the system for checking the order status was down.

What does people orders say for the XBox live kit? I have "item submitted" on mine, so I think that could mean item has been dispatched.
MS do only have a limited number. Its a Beta test so only about 3000 people can get the kit now. If not you have to wait til Nov 30th or even 14th March 2004.

YES ! Got the confirmation letter ! :-)) Kinda funny how it shows up once the poxy Friday turns into Saturday. When I get up I'll be off into town to get my damn Fifa 2003 game. ;-)
Hehe. Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I meant it like it's what a lot of companies use to get people to buy the product quicker. Don't get me wrong, Microsoft could be saying it for genuine reasons, and might really be very limited on what they have, but it reminds me of a simpsons episode with the radio mic.
