I'd like to see more "erotic content" in games.

Huh, that makes me sound like a really sad git doesn't it?
Well, whatever.... but adding more erotica into videogames would certainly make those increasingly long ingame cutscenes more interesting.

In Shenmue for example, Ryo should have "got it on" with Nozomi. I mean, come on! She was practically begging for it!
And think how Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation would have been improved if Lara had indulged in "wild and untamed rumpy pumpy" with that wrinkly old German geezer!

Yep, there's no doubt about it: there should definately be more erotic content in games.

I can see it now:
Mario and Princess Peach rolling about butt-naked in the long flowery grasses of Nintendoland!
Solid Snake lascivously bedding anything in a skirt!
Crazy Taxi's Axel and Gena bouncing and bonking like bunnies on the backseats of their cabs!
Tony Hawks giving it the old bump & grind with someone's half-pipe!
Max Payne shooting his bullets of lurv in slow motion!
Joanna Dark playing saucy games with an FBI agent's meat and two veg!
Duke Nukem enjoying a bit of slap'n'tickle with one of those nightclub strippers!
The Dead or Alive girls initiating a free-for-all gangbang on the roof of a skyscraper!

The mind boggles.

Even Jak could "get his end away" with Daxter!
Wowww, hold the horses! On second thoughts, even I'd have to draw the line at bestiality!

We've seen violent, criminal and downright immoral behaviour reach a stylish and excessive peak with Grand theft Auto III, so why not do the same with erotic content?
If you ask me, it's time is NOW.

So, am I just one sick puppy, or would games be made much, much more interesting and entertaining if erotica winked at us from time to time with its flirty and enticing eyes?

Anyway, I was being just a little light-hearted when I said there should be more erotic content in games, but I will say this: it seems that almost every lead character in a game is a lone hero/heroine - it would just be something a little bit different if every now and then they participated in a tasteful dose of loveplay. That's all I'm saying. It would add to the realism.

Well heres two ways of looking at this issue;

1) Such content adds nothing to the games in terms of playability and enjoyment. If you'd enjoy two computer generated characters "getting it on" then you're in a minority. Gameplay wise it adds nothing of value and would only further drag the overall games industry down. Its not the image anyone wants for an industry trying to attract a wider audience. Such games would only further alienate the growing number of female gamers.

2) Erotic content is diferent from immoral behaviour, violence, crime e.t.c in that if you went out into town its a pretty good chance you'd see a real world example of it....you can't say the same for erotic content (unless you live in a v.weird town)Games with crime in tackle that issue because its a problem that society cannot solve, and the games are an insight into that issue, even though they are really fun as well. The player is involved in the game. You're suggesting erotic content as cut scenes, which I think would actually turn gamers away from any games including them if they wee as graphic as you suggest their is demand for. Sure, they'd sell, but to who ? How many proper gfamers would just look elsewhere, because at the end of the day the majority want playability, not playboy, in their games.

And why not just go buy some Playboy DVDs or something eh ? Probably cheaper than games !

Anyway I've changed my mind now cos I can't be arsed to by an xbox. I rarely play my ps2 so there's little point.

Still flog it to one of the townies in your area for an huge price say it limited edition, by putting a dent in the bottom so they pay thier £500, and your laughing all the way to the bank.

Second hand, new hand, bred in captivity i don't mind. I probaly buying it new.
