I think the interesting thing is that over fifty percent of people won't be going online this year - and probably not the next either. It proves Nintendo are right by taking a somewhat back seat in this online business, and playing it casual. Perhaps Microsoft are putting the final nail in the X-Box's coffin by concentrating so much on LIVE?

Next year's sales will be VERY interesting.

Yeah but they forced you to use one ISP, which meant you had to pay loads for your call charges. There was a monthly sub in America because you could choose your own ISP, hence SEGA got none of the profits.

Not for the original. They introduced it in america for version 2, and then they did the same over here. In the beginning, all it would cost you was for your internet dial-up. Ah the memories.

You did have to pay monthly for PSO on the Dreamcast.

It will be the same for the X-box, unles Microsoft use the fat wads of cash to pay for them

Yes. I said they play Halo through their PC's, not on their PC's! You can quite easily connect your X-Box to your PC, and then play Halo using sommin' like GameSpy.
