It's because people on the Xbox realise how rubbish online gaming is.

Indeed, maybe now microsoft and all the other big companies can stop hyping up their online capabilities and get back to making games which are, you know, fun to play for more than 1 hour.

It's only a small amount of people surveyed but I still think Microsoft are putting all their Monkey nuts into one basket and it's a bad move.

I think the biggest problem is gonna be subscrption. If people have to fork out monthly payments just to play a game online on top of the internet connection I doubt it'll be very popular...

To be perfectly honest I think that's tripe. It's common knowledge that most X-Box owners have a PC. And a great number of them already play games such as Halo online through their PC's. That sort of stuff doesn't happen on the other consoles. Online gaming will be more for X-Box.

Also, just a little fact to kick you in the nuts. Surposedly Sega are going to charge £10 a month for you to play Phantasy Star Online, online on your Cube! Oh dear, oh dear! If they do that, then I can't see the game being very popular. The only reason it did so well on Dreamcast was because it was free to play it online. If your having to pay £10 a month to play the game, after forking out £30 odd quid for the actual game, then it's life is going to be quite limited!

You realise that Halo isn't out on PC.

Yes. I said they play Halo through their PC's, not on their PC's! You can quite easily connect your X-Box to your PC, and then play Halo using sommin' like GameSpy.
