I would take the speed the 'BT availability checker' gives you with a massive pinch of salt! - that's not the speed of your line it's just an estimate based on what it's been seeing lately. So as you have been losing connection it's had a re-think.
Just ignore it - the important thing is what speed you actually connect at - not what some BT line guestimator has in it's system!

My IP profile is back up and every thing is good its just that 4.5 thing thats bugging me now.

I checked out my neighbours phone numbers last week and took note of expected speeds, and I reported on here that they were all low! inc mine, I have checked them all again today, and and they are all back up to 7.5 last week they were all over the place, my one still shows at 4.5, but I expect once things settle down again it will go back up. But in summing up yer honours I still think that BT have had a fault at the exchange that caused this problem, but they are not going to admit to it. Why else would all the numbers go down then all come back up. Remember I told you that I was not alone with my problems. Still happy that my router has been replaced its peace of mind.

Now that you are back on the maximum sync your IP Profile will recover to 7150 (that's as good as you can go)!
