What are Nintendo's online plans?

We don't know, but the big cheese's in the gaming industry do and this includes Microsoft. Microsoft have been told by Rare or just have suspecions of Nintendo's marketing plans and Microsoft stated that they are very cunning and that they have something incredible up the sleeves.

Rumours surrounding online play through the newley announced GBA player add on to the Gamecube could well be it. Online GBA games? Addictive and fun games that require very little bandwidth etc... or nintendo maintance? It could be terrifyingly possible and may kill X-box off in Japan that hopes X-box Live could help increase dwindeling sales in the land of the rising sun.

Thought you aught to know.

Mario Sunshine is'nt the best platformer on any platform. Thats what Mario 64 was for.

Wow, is this an example of Ninty Fanboy desperation or what ? Stsarfox sucks, big time. Mario ws okay, but no Mario 64...

Hey come on. Mario Sunshine is undoubtedly the best platformer on any format - and most, if not all critics say the same. Now Starfox is very good in my opinion (even though it was effectively made by Microsoft - how 'baaaad' is it now?), and all in all, a nicely put together game.

A worthwhile purchase.

Mario Sunshine was good in it's own way, but over all to quickly, plus there is the criminal reuse of many levels with only small changes. The old school style levels are good, but you can't shake the feeling that they were thrown in to add to longevity and as easy to make sections...

Yes, but having a GC does not mean I am sworn to show undying loylty to Nintendo and utter belief in their plans. I think Nintendo are screwing up big time, and having invested a considerable amount of money in a GC, accessories, and games, I'm slightly worried by it. Starfox - and I have bought it - was a major let down. Looks great, plays tediously and boring though.
