What are Nintendo's online plans?

We don't know, but the big cheese's in the gaming industry do and this includes Microsoft. Microsoft have been told by Rare or just have suspecions of Nintendo's marketing plans and Microsoft stated that they are very cunning and that they have something incredible up the sleeves.

Rumours surrounding online play through the newley announced GBA player add on to the Gamecube could well be it. Online GBA games? Addictive and fun games that require very little bandwidth etc... or nintendo maintance? It could be terrifyingly possible and may kill X-box off in Japan that hopes X-box Live could help increase dwindeling sales in the land of the rising sun.

Thought you aught to know.

Saying Starfox was effectively made by Microsoft ? That my friend, is most obviously grapsing at straws, and ignorant as well. You now full well that Starfox had been in development ages before Microsoft acquired Rare, and that the contract between Rare and Nintendo regarding Starfox would not have allowed Microsoft to effect the game.

Whilst it's received "varied" reviews, I think you'll find that there are more gamers in this country disappointed with it than me and Tiltawhirl...which, even if you do like it, has to be a bad thing for all Nintendo gamers as it will effect sales.

And Maverick, did I actually say that people should not be allowed to play Starfox or similar ? Er....nope I didn't so you made that up yourself. I'm simply voicing my opinion that Starfox is over rated, over hyped crap, much like many games from all formats this year.

So Starfox Adventures has erratic reviews - it doesn't mean it's a bad game. Edge gave it 6/10, when NOM gave it 9/10. NGC gave it 74%, when CUBE gave it 94%. You and Tiltawhirl hate it, while I and Fuzzy love it - get over it. Who are you to dictate what we can or cannot play? By voicing my opinion I'm suddenly a desperate fanboy?

I don't want to get into a feud with you, but that was a fairly ignorant comment.
