I will warn you though that you will undoubtedly get fobbed off with every excuse under the sun about why they wont release it (as I have). Just keep on e-mailing until they do release it!
The more of us that do it the more it might work!

see my other posts, and pay attention!
THERE IS NO MOD CHIP TO ALLOW UK GAMES TO BE PLAYED ON A JAP OR US MACHINE!
the Qube will not play UK games!
and also, Nintendo released the gamecube solely as a games console, if they wanted to add a DVD drive to it they would have done!
the point they are making is that they are a GAMES company, and are only interested in supplying games!
All the onboard DVD players in consoles are crap anyway.
Another thing, when freeloader finally gets released it is guaranteed to have some problems and catches to it, one of them which to my knoweldge hasnt been rectified yet is that you cannot lay 2 disc games with it!
So resi games are out already!

One word: Freeloader. You know, the little disc that allows PAL and NTSC games to be played on PAL and NTSC consoles.
:)

£350 isn't what it costs in Japan. It's more like £200 over there. But over here, you'll have to import it and get it modded, so that it can play PAL games and the European DVDs.
