At first I was enjoying myself, the graphics where amazing and the puzzles seemed simple but okay. I'm starting to realise though why it got such low marks, it stupidly linear, the majority of puzzels are pathetically simliar and extremely simple. It's like Zelda for retards...not just your normal retard though these would have to be super, super retards. Sometimes i've got stuck because I find myself looking into the puzzle to much when actual fact I should be looking for a stupid symbol on the wall, absoloute ar$e.
I games where rated on graphics then this would be the best game of the year, unfortunatly they're not and I agree with Digitiser this deserves 2/10, not because it's THAT bad, it's bad but not THAT bad but because Rare should have done so much better, they've proved they can before so what in Gods name possessed them when they where making this steaming pile of toss I realy don't know.
Oh and this is coming from someone who loved DK64 and thinks Banjo Tooie is one of the best games ever.
I'll play the game to the end just because, but it'll be going back as soon as I finish it.

So it is a 16 hours job. Thats good! Not too long! Not to Short! WOW, I will be buying this!

Have you done the 3rd Krazoa test yet? The test of fear, it's really cool!

Except a few parts really are crap, namely, the whole of The Walled City.

Yup. Go back to where the iceballs are rolling down the glaicer thingy and walk up it. Near the top you'll see an ice covered opening on the left. Use Tricky's fire breath to get through then go in and tell him to find the secret. There's another Alpine Root in there.
*Note: I'm pretty sure that's where it is, can't remember exactly.

I personally like this game. A lot. It's graphics are gorgeous, the sound is lovely, the combat system rules (IMO) and it is very engaging. I'm enjoying playing through it. Admittedly it is quite linear and some of the puzzles are made stupidly easy by Slippy, however I find it utterly compelling: Once I start playing I'm hooked there for 2 or more hours. On Friday I started it at 7 and didn't stop playing till 10:45. And today I've spent 2 and a half hours solidly on it. Progress is quick (which is something that annoys me in other games: when progress is boringly slow) but not quick enough to allow me to speed through the game. I'm playing through lesurely and am at about 20% of the way through and that's after 7 hours of play. If I keep going at this rate then it'll take me 35 hours minimum to finish the game. And considering that we're now in Nintendo's Short'n'Sweet era I count that as a large plus.
Anyway, I'm enjoying this game throughly, so balls to all of you who aren't :-D

Good because I hate a short game. There is nothing worse than completing a game in less than one weekend like Luigi's Mansion!

hope this is the one, got this from www.gamefaqs.com
SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Head back up to the clearing and talk to the SnowHorn to find that he's hungry
(if its nighttime, he'll be asleep and won't talk; you'll have to wait until
morning). Anyway, he wants some kind of grub called an Alpine Root. Search
around the clearing to find brown plots in the ground; have Tricky 'Find
secret' and eventually something like a pineapple will appearm which is the
Alpine Root. Press A to pick it up and bring it to the SnowHorn. He'll give
you a bag for your scarabs. Nifty, but that's not exactly what we need right
now. Bring him another one of those Alpine Roots and he'll stop the geyser
behind you. Because he stopped the geyser, down comes a block. Push it into
towards the ledge that looks like it could best be placed, and use it to climb
up.
i keep buying new games!
lol
im on my way though, it seems quite big so far, only up to 38% so far and its already been large!
