That's right, I wanted to like this game I really did but the more I play it the more it dawns on me just how pathetically retarded it is.

At first I was enjoying myself, the graphics where amazing and the puzzles seemed simple but okay. I'm starting to realise though why it got such low marks, it stupidly linear, the majority of puzzels are pathetically simliar and extremely simple. It's like Zelda for retards...not just your normal retard though these would have to be super, super retards. Sometimes i've got stuck because I find myself looking into the puzzle to much when actual fact I should be looking for a stupid symbol on the wall, absoloute ar$e.

I games where rated on graphics then this would be the best game of the year, unfortunatly they're not and I agree with Digitiser this deserves 2/10, not because it's THAT bad, it's bad but not THAT bad but because Rare should have done so much better, they've proved they can before so what in Gods name possessed them when they where making this steaming pile of toss I realy don't know.

Oh and this is coming from someone who loved DK64 and thinks Banjo Tooie is one of the best games ever.

I'll play the game to the end just because, but it'll be going back as soon as I finish it.

Look guys, I really like the game. As does my friends. And Fuzzy, and Whitestripes. So opinions differ - who cares? In my opinion, as a fan of Zelda games - it's an essential purchase.

By the way, I'm on the mines, and there's a mammoth who will help me get through the front gates if I can find him some food. Now I've brought him one root, but I'm stuck now, as he says he wants more.

Any ideas?

you totally miss the point.

all of you have!
everyone has overhyped this game so much that everyone was expecting a marvelous challenging game, capable of beating other games like mario!
botoom line is, it is what it is!
i think its good, and yes some puzzles are stupidly easy, but the rest of the game is challenging enough to keep you going on.

this is how games used to be, nowadays the majority of games needs you to use a guide or the internet to find out how to do a certain puzzle without spending time on it!
people have forgotten how to play games properly, and its sad.

No i've played Rare games that a lot would say where 'childish' such as Banjo Kazooie and i've enjoyed them and found them a challenge. Starfox is just retarded. For example, at one point you're looking for a key to get Tricky out of a prison cell, Slippy tells you to go explore the snowball conveyor belt, so off you go to explore. when you get there you find a dead end and a fire generator type thing in your way....there's gotta be some way around this, looking around you spot a cannon quite near you, maybe you have to occupy this and shoot the fire generator, or maybe you have to shoot something to block the fire.....oh hang on a second no you don't, you just have to shoot the big red switch that's above the fire generator. ABSOLOUTLY RETARDED!!!

This kind of thing happens throughout the game, the solution to far many of these cruddy so called 'puzzles' is shoot the red switch.

It's like Rare switched into retard mode when making this game.
