Or as it is otherwise known - The MLB Thread

So Yankees, as always busy around deadline day and were quite successful. Abreu and Lidle for a bunch of minor league prospects of which only Smith looks half decent. Don't know too much about Lidle to be honest but Abreu will give another strong bat and some experienced coverage for Sheffield while he's out injured (and more than likely replace him for next season) Also picked up Craig Wilson for Chacon to give us another strong bat. Had him in my MVP Baseball 2005 team as well actually. Might mean Andy Phillips doesn't get as much time as he should though which is a shame.

Red Sox and Jays did nothing and we kept hold of Cano, Melky and Phillips so a good trade deadline time all around for the Yanks

Hopefully we'll be able to get a steady rotation soon enough

Yep, I can't believe that the Yankees have yet another rookie pitching. Rasner getting injured again was yet another blow.

Yep, he's getting back to his best after the odd bad start after his injury.

A-Rod has gone cold again. It would have been great if he had kept the April form going for the season. The ESPN pundits would be having kittens. :)

Wang with a great performance last night, and to think he'll be our number 2/3 (depending on how you view Pettitte) in a week or so's time :-D

Well from the reports down in Tampa his command is pretty much bang on, he was telling the catcher where he was going to throw it and the guy didn't even have to move his glove

Let's hope he has his stuff. Yankee game postponed last night and I watched Milwaukee V Phillies. Phillies hit a walk off homer.

Clemens saying he could be ready as early as the end of May and could make his debut against Toronto. Lovely
