So now it has sparked an interest, I know you need to have broadband and I have read that it costs £44.99, but is that £44.99 per month, year, or what?
Also, what other expenses are involved in this?
To cut a long post short, does anyone have any info that could be helpful?
Thanks.

ADSL is 512K, that is what I have and use on XBox Live :). Alot of people think that 128K is broadband, but it isnt not technically, it is faster than dial up, but may not be fast enough for PS2 or XBox online.
ADSL 512K is good as its a 512k download and 256K upload. Cable is 600K download and only 128k upload, unless you get the 1024k download and 256K upload.
Broadband (512K or greater)
Your joking? Hardly anyone has that. Surely ADSL will be ok. I heared it will be for PS2, but no dial-up (Which is good). What connection do you have?

Well if you already have Broadband (512K or greater), and already have an XBox then its pretty cheap. But if you dont then money will be a problem :).
Is Sony releasing a headset? As in the new OPS2M it doesnt mention it yet in a picture it shows a headset just like the XBox one.
one problem - Money
one pronblem - Money

On XBox Live you do :). You plug in a adaptor into the controller which has a mute button and volume control. Then the microphone headset plugs into the adaptor. Its like the head sets you get for the PC i.e. 1 ear piece. All voice communications come through the head set so you still get all the normal game sounds from the TV, so its easy to listen to the game sounds, and the people talking. Also there are voice masks which make your voice sound different, so if your playing Unreal you may want to sound really tough. Or if you play Whacked you may want a cartoon voice. All this happens in real time.
