Okay... we've all had different experiences with games. We've all found different games we've been addicted to, and we've all missed a great many releases too. Here's a chance to inform everyone else of the great releases they may've missed.

So... the purpose of this thread. Nominate a game.... preferably one that will be easy for people to get gold of (whether by rental, emulation, download, or whatever), and the rest of us will try it out.

I'd start the ball rolling by nominating the following:
UFO: enemy unknown (can be downloaded off the net somewhere)
QuazatronParadroid (get a C64/Spectrum emulator and rom)

Okay, I found a site that has it for download.

But it's a Russian site.

Think the game will have English text?

Sonic 2 and 3, at least the former. Also Rez, because apparently the only people who critisize it are those who haven't played it.

hmmmmmm, not too sure about that, I'm concerned by the fact that Grim Fandango was one of the best Lucas adventures, and it was also their last truely original one.

I must get a hold of the Escape from Monkey Island for the PS2..............

Guybrush Threepwood is almost the coolest games character ever...............

Play The Dig. It's a simple tale of a few people, not funny, just a really great game. I think Spielburg directed it, actually.

Yup. All the world needs is one damn excellent point and click to appear, and we'll have another rush of them.

Soes anyone get the impression that Grix likes Lucas Art's point and click adventures???

Well, I wouldn't blame him, the Monkey Island games and Sam and Max hit the Road contain the wittiest and most bizarre scripts ever concieved.

they are also damn tough to crack if you haven't played them as a wee heid nipper........

Just found Toonstruck. Excellent.

You all have to play it though. Utterly, utterly twisted game.

Just thought of a few.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Day of the Tentacle
Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2
Curse of Monkey Island
Escape from Monkey Island
Grim Fandango
The Dig
Full Throttle
And...

Toonstruck. I REALLY need to buy this game... can't download it, it's got a lot of movies, CD thing. Best FMV ever, though. Excellent game, nobody played.

I'll have a looky on ebay.
