Okay... we've all had different experiences with games. We've all found different games we've been addicted to, and we've all missed a great many releases too. Here's a chance to inform everyone else of the great releases they may've missed.

So... the purpose of this thread. Nominate a game.... preferably one that will be easy for people to get gold of (whether by rental, emulation, download, or whatever), and the rest of us will try it out.

I'd start the ball rolling by nominating the following:
UFO: enemy unknown (can be downloaded off the net somewhere)
QuazatronParadroid (get a C64/Spectrum emulator and rom)

So, anyone know where I could get this?

i am sure places like Game do it for 4.99. One of those budget selections IIRC.

The ones with the white boxes and yellow stripes and the original box kinda photographed and stuck in the middle (if you know what i mean).

Hope that vague description helps!

I had this game: UFO: enemy unknown

Recommended to me yesterday, also.

And I played one of it's sequels, which apparently isn't as good.

One game you all must play which made me immensely happy (and almost popular) - Columns on the Mega-Drive. I always used to go to my local library and the other kids would gather round as I got another high score. Ahh, those were the days...

Super Mario World. TIMELESS classic. side-scrolling level-based adventure game, frustrating at times, rewarding at others but so damn good. Gaming how it really should be.

Street Fighter II. Simple, easy to play highly addictive...

Super mario Kart (SNES original) need I say ANYTHING about this game?

Any Football fan needs to have played SWOS in the Amiga. Not on any other platform, the Amiga version was the best. PC version was too fast and totally messed up. Need to play Amiga version. SWOS: most playable footy game ever. Also has every single country in the world, and at least one league full of club teams from that country. Wicked for two floppy disks.

Yup, that's what I'm planning to do, too.

Death Rally, on PC.
