Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

Here is an amusing trick for Zelda 64

go into the windmill as young link make it rain put on the mask of truth and draw your sword face the camera and wait.
link will shiver for a while slide the sword under the mask and apeare to behead himself he will then spit out blood!
TRY IT

I agree
Multi formatt mags dont pay attention to N64 owners like they should this is prbably the reason N64 is not out selling playstation even though it has twice its specs and superior games.
I have to say however that if you are looking for N64 review you might s well buy an N64 mag

Why do multi-format games mags seem to hate Nintendo. I mean, the only time they mention them is when they review the odd game now and again and when Nintendo lose money. Is it any wonder that Nintendo are doing badly with all the bad press they get. Looking through an old multi-format games mag all I can see is 4 reviews of N64 games out of 23 in total. It also has walkthroughs for Playstation games mainly and a tiny section with N64 tips.
Yes I know that more people have Playstations than N64s and that more games come out on other formats but if a dedicated N64 magazine can find at least 7 reviews each month then I’m sure that the multi-format mags could do better than 4. These mags have to realise that just because lots of people own Playstations doesn’t mean that we all do, it’s completely arrogant of them to just assume that nobody owns N64s. Most mags only have a tiny GB section with reviews taking up a measly half a page. The Game Boy is one of the most popular platforms in the UK but the writers of most magazines assume that just because a game doesn’t have fancy 3D graphics or great AI then it isn’t as good as games on other formats.
Also, magazines like Edge aren’t exactly helping Nintendo by showing a picture of a smashed N64 on the front cover and the headline ‘Is this the end for Nintendo’, yes it’s only their opinion but how can they expect the N64 to sell well when they are saying that it is dead. They don’t seem to mention that later this year games like Perfect Dark, Conker’s Bad Fur Day and Eternal Darkness are coming out. I don’t mind them expressing their opinions but they could at least represent both sides of the argument instead of simply giving Nintendo endless bad press.
Can’t the magazines realise that the people do own N64s and they do want tips and reviews for N64 games instead of just endless features on Playstation and PC games. It even seems like the Pokemon craze has given magazines an excuse to push N64 games out. They give Pokemon a huge section and then remove an even bigger chunk of other N64 reviews. I understand that Pokemon is popular but it is not the only good game Nintendo have ever produced.
If mags want to sink the N64 then they are going about it the right way or maybe they just want some nice statistics on how Nintendo’s sales are falling to put in their news column.
It would be nice to hear from someone from Special Reserve to see if they agree with this and to hear what they think on the subject.

good translation, but why would you want to save the horse?
and how many years is it set after his last adventure?
And why do you change back to a child at the end of his last adventure? I don't care about the lost 7 years! does anyone else???

I havn't heard anything about this game for ages, anyway there are loads of games that try and compete with goldeneye but fail miserably!
Why don't people think that `tommorrow never dies` on the ps is the sequel to goldeneye?

The unofficial sequel to goldeneye is set to hit our shelfs around christmas. The new developers are Eurocom but can they follow on from Rare's briliant Goldeneye and possibly chalenge Perfect Dark?
The levels that have been comfired so far are the MI6 HQ, The River Thames boat chase, And the jungles of Ascaban but expect the sking scene the caviar factory and the final battle with Renard in the sinking sub.
It will feature around 40 weapons and gadgets don't expect solid gun blazing action as in Goldeneye it will also feature stealth and objective that are said to be more complex that Goldeneye's Objectivs may also change during a mission.
A multiplayer similar to Goldeneye should keep you ocupied with your friends for a while.
One thing that is sure is that there will be no Co-operative modes as the developers say that bond is a one man agent and works alone.
This game should be a hit however it may not be able to compete with the likes of Goldeneye and Perfect dark.

I have seen Nintendo grow from making card games to where it is now. In the past it has shrugged off all competition and I can't wait to see the greystation fall down the same hole as the saturn so that nintendo may rule supreme once again.PS Turok Rage Wars at that price, best go buy it before it goes out of stock or they change the price.

Just to help you. The plot is that some evil people have kidnapped Epona. And have taken her into an alternative dimension. An alternitive Hyrule. Link follows to save Epona but finds out that a comet is set to hit the alternative Hyrule and merge the dimensions together.(or destroy both) and it's up to Link to save the land he was born in.
I'm good at Japenese.

For some reason there is no Zelda Chat room (They even have one for Blastcorps) so i have found my way to this room to spread the word about Zelda 2.
It should be released around Christmas time here in the U.K (if its not like Perfect Dark!) but in Japan it has just been released and it look quite good.
It seems from what i can Gather that it is set in an alternate Hyrule
with many of the same characters but doing different things in different places (The Gerudo Thiefs have moved from the desert to the sea and have become mercy-less pirates) .
The plot is hidden deep in the shrouds of the Japanese laguage (i dont speak Japanese so cant translate the screen shots I have come across) But from what i can gather it is all about morphing into diferent species like the Gorons by putting on magical masks (Remember the happy mask shop) Zora Link can Swim , Goron Link can walk through Lava I think there is also a Deku link but what he can do is a mystery to me.
Another thing that has come through the screen shots is that the bad guy may (i'm not certain) be a elf kind of guy (i forget his name) he is similar to a deku thing and a kokiri .
I have also found that the plot may be about a phycotic moon hurtling towards Hyrule perhaps link has to stop it I don't know.
The game features the orcarina and Link may have a Cross-bow
Things like bombs will still feature.
It seems link will always stay young so we will have to make do with the knife and not the sword.
All the same this looks like a great game go to nintendo.com for info and screen shots. This months "N64" mag has a two page look in as well, worth a look
