Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

the games for the N64 are very poular, with Zelda as you wrote, pokemon stadium
whereas there are the FIFA's for football, although this is not exacitaly an olimpic stadium full of exents like int track + field, and the hundreds of crap footy games piled out by Sony, it's alright, if you want sport get a ps, if you want good graphics good gameplay and great 1st person shooters and rpg's then get a N64, or just get a damn dreamcast if you can't get a straight result!

That's exactly what Nintendo have become, the trick being 1st person shooters.
Since Goldeneye's success all that time ago, it seems almost all Nintendo's high profile games have been of said genre. The obvious exception to this is Zelda, but even this apple doesn't fall far from the tree, playing in a similar style, with more of an emphasis on the puzzle element than the standard big guns. With Perfect Dark and Daikatana the hot new games going along the same path, questions have to be asked.
What about sport sims? How long will it be before someone finally produces a footy game with any quality behind it?
While the shooters are all well and good in their own right, variety is supposed to be the spice of life, right? And their lack of it could be Nintendo's death.

Now that the Playstation's games are starting to slow down, so that Sony can save their hard earned pennies for their new conole, the PS2.
Nintendo have started release some brand new games which will have N64 owners, and maybe some PS owners, if they can bear the thought, these games are PD, conkers BFD and Dragon world? the last two games have 546 mb cartridges and will need the expansion pak, but I have seen reviews of them at the e3 show, and they look so good, well maybe not conker, but then it is the first game to use a whole 500+mb on one cart!!!! maybe this will increase nintendo's sales and will improve the quality of the Dolphin!

both Turok Dinosaur hunter and Turok seeds of evil were fun games, but they both had one major problem. The majority of people who played them on the N64 got bored of them pretty quickly because the levels were too similar or there was too much time between save points. If you are in this position and want to liven the game up you could try these cheats.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK ------ ALL CHEATS
TSHNTTBNCTPRDCRD ------ BIG HEADS
DNCHN ------ DANA'S CHEAT
CGTSMMGGTS ------ ALL WEAPONS
SNFFRR ------ DISCO MODE
FRTHSTHTTRLSCK ------ INFINITE LIVES
THSSLKSCL ------ SPIRIT MODE
BLLTSRRFRND ------ INFINITE AMMO
GRGCHN ------ GREG MODE
DLKTDR ------ LINE MODE
CLLTHTNMTN ------ QUACK MODE
RBNSMTH ------ ROBIN'S CHEAT

TUROK 2 : SEEDS OF EVIL

BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND ----- ALL CHEATS
UBERNOODLE ----- BIG HEADS
HOLASTICKBOY ----- STICK MEN
STOMPEM ----- BIG LIMBS
PIPSQUEAK ----- SMALL ENEMIES
AAHGOO ----- BABY MODE
FROOTSTRIPE ----- FRUITY COLOURS
LIGHTSOUT ----- BLACKOUT
IGOTABFA ----- LINE MODE

THESE CHEATS SHOULD ALL WORK BUT ONLY FOR THE N64. (PC CHEATS ARE DIFFERENT). ALL THE ABOVE CHEATS SHOULD BE ENTERED IN THE CHEAT MENUS OF THE GAME.

many times have I spent insearch for the 'sinking lure' and seeing as you have it I would like to ask some questions.
do you need the rod to get it?
is the sinking lure the same shape/size/colour, of the original lure?
Does link put his arms in the sky holding the lure when he gets it, (the same way he does with other items he collects?)
which log are you talking about? do you have to stand on the log and dive down to get it?
Is it an alive fish? (a baby fish?)

I would be very happy if you could answer all of these

If you play a lot of singleplayer games choose DK64
Choose Smash Brothers if you want a fun game which is brilliantly entertaining in the multiplayer.

What no way the games that are coming out for th N64 look great I would explode if Perfect Dark came out for the Dolphin and not the N64 all the games that are still coming out will have been started a while before and they would not just give up months of work to start on the Dolphin which looks good but its just another console which unfortunatly will be beaten by Sony even though it is much better.

With my Birthday coming up on the 2nd of July I am faced with the difficult decision of which to N64 games I should get (I have already won Perfect Dark) I'm not a big fan of racing games.
I'm thinking about DK64(expansion pack for perfect dark) and perhaps something like Super Smash Bro's im not sure what to get so if anybody has any better combos then tell me
