How long do people think the N64 has left to live?
With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

That's another point, can anyone tell me why Nintendo is getting rid of carts? why can't they have a DVD player for DVD, (Obviously) and a cart slot for our new games and old, like the ps2, but better. This way we would get the best of both worlds, internet action and DVD all on one beutiful system!!
write back.
They just need a little sprucing up here and there. More support from third-partys would be a great help to them. The games they make are of the best quality in the world, but they are few and far between. Many people would say that Nintendo is dead, but those are mostly Sony fanboys, with little knowledge of the gaming industry, waiting for their precious baby the PS2.
When the dolphin comes it will be a masterpiece. And will turn out quality games as it is much easier to work with than PS2. Hopefully, there will be 3rd-party support from many of thye big names. Or maybe, the Dolphin will come too late...
Whenever it comes I know I will be buying it and with all the games I can. I'm especially looking forward to Thornado. Even just the music and character shots sound too good to be true. When nintendo comes, support them, or they might just fade out from the crowd.
Take my advice and trust it because maybe it will come true.

Nintendo were seen to be dyinig out a few months ago with no good titles announced to officially come out.
Now pokemon has come to brighten Nintendos days up on the Gameboy with a new game out Pokemon Yellow, on the N64 pokemon statdium and soon pokemon snap.
But the main leaders of the N64 would have to be RareWare bringing classic titles such as Goldeneye, Donkey Kong, The original Blastcorps, But now Rare have done it again with Perfect Dark an large improvement to the N64 offering state of the art intelligence from the characters, huge enviroments offering a true gaming experience, and improved graphics to smarten out any game.
Thats not it all from Rare as they have announced to bring out the sequel to Banjo Kazzoie "BANJO TOOIE" and a new RPG called "Dinosaur Planet".
So are Nintendo dead,I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!!!
Oh, and I'd recomend temporarily trading consoles with your mates to everyone. All the best of the other gaming side with none of the cost. Assuming your all N64 owners here, root out people with other consoles. You'll love it. People you trust with your plastic baby anyway.
