Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

I don't get why everyone thinks that the N64 is dead, or soon to be dead, because the N64 might not have brought any games out for ages, well they have and in this year will be loads of brand spankling new games pileing onto our shelves, you already mentioned the best ones but the Dinosaur planet, conkers BFD and another one that i can't remeber wil be put on a new improved 500mb+ cart, this will be so good because with the expansion pak we will be the first to see graphics which will make the standard for Nintendo games to come!!
That's another point, can anyone tell me why Nintendo is getting rid of carts? why can't they have a DVD player for DVD, (Obviously) and a cart slot for our new games and old, like the ps2, but better. This way we would get the best of both worlds, internet action and DVD all on one beutiful system!!
write back.

i have a question for anyone to answer. has anyone heard any new information on iss millennium, and more specifically, when it's likely to be released? i think the iss series is the best football series of games on the n64, and i have been a big fan of the games ever since they first came out on the snes, so i am looking forward to seeing millennium. hopefully it won't be too long now?

Nintendo. Dead. Nah!

They just need a little sprucing up here and there. More support from third-partys would be a great help to them. The games they make are of the best quality in the world, but they are few and far between. Many people would say that Nintendo is dead, but those are mostly Sony fanboys, with little knowledge of the gaming industry, waiting for their precious baby the PS2.

When the dolphin comes it will be a masterpiece. And will turn out quality games as it is much easier to work with than PS2. Hopefully, there will be 3rd-party support from many of thye big names. Or maybe, the Dolphin will come too late...

Whenever it comes I know I will be buying it and with all the games I can. I'm especially looking forward to Thornado. Even just the music and character shots sound too good to be true. When nintendo comes, support them, or they might just fade out from the crowd.

Take my advice and trust it because maybe it will come true.

The gaming technology is getting stronger day by day, Week by week. As proven with the new Dreamcast almost out for a year now and the upcoming release of the playstation 2 in the uk.
Nintendo were seen to be dyinig out a few months ago with no good titles announced to officially come out.
Now pokemon has come to brighten Nintendos days up on the Gameboy with a new game out Pokemon Yellow, on the N64 pokemon statdium and soon pokemon snap.
But the main leaders of the N64 would have to be RareWare bringing classic titles such as Goldeneye, Donkey Kong, The original Blastcorps, But now Rare have done it again with Perfect Dark an large improvement to the N64 offering state of the art intelligence from the characters, huge enviroments offering a true gaming experience, and improved graphics to smarten out any game.
Thats not it all from Rare as they have announced to bring out the sequel to Banjo Kazzoie "BANJO TOOIE" and a new RPG called "Dinosaur Planet".
So are Nintendo dead,I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!!!

One of the best move in the game is ness' down and B move. Most people do not know what this move does. It has the ability not only to absorb many item attacks such as Charizard from the Pokeball, fire flowers or ray guns as well as being able to absorb most charachters projectiles. But as well as absorbing the damage it actually heals you as well taking of the amount of damage the attack would have done from your damage total. This has one really great benefit other than just using it in normal play, in multiplayer battles you can choose to play teams and one or both of you can choose ness and put team attack on, if your damage total is dangerously high both of you can try to escape your enemies and heal each other using either charachter projectiles (samus' charged ball works best) or items such as fireflowers to heal each other. With a bit of practice you and a friend can get a brilliant partnerships going, perhaps with the non Ness charachter healing Ness and the Ness could let his partner claim the health items. Anyway try it out if you have the game because it works really well and could make team battles more exciting for you.

Ha ha! All you sorry little PS owners want a Playstation 2 - how immature! It has the worst games line up for any console ever and WILL cost over £250. The DVD is a very poor quality one and GT2000 is absolute poo in comparison to Metropolis Street Racer which is appearing on Dreamcast Sept. 8th. In MSR if you are really good, and I mean the BES**T you can win real , yes REAL sports cars! Playstation 2 costs nearly double the price of DReamcast - Go to Gameplay.com to get a fantastic deal on Dreamcast - DC console + 2 games for only £149.99!!!!!!! Dreamcast is the ONLY console to boast online play, and at last CHUCHU rocket enables users to play online against the Spanish, German and French aswell as the British. Oh, and by the way ChuCHu ROCKET is available for FREE when you register with Dreamcast's Dreamarena!!! If your waiting for a next generation console then wait no more - Dreamcast is here and has already got over 100 games and in 2 months time every single PLAYS**TATION game will work on Dreamcast thanks to BLEEM, an emulator that makes all PS games look and feel 10 times better on Dreamcast!! Dreamcast, you might think, hasn't got many good games but think AGAIN!!! Just because Sega don't advertise much doesn't mean they haven't got anything to shout about. Just look at the AMAZING Ecco the Dolphin - available for £23.99 from gamesstreet.com It has the greatest graphics ever seen - ever, not even the PS2 can handle such wonderful effects. Then there's Sega Rally 2, Ready 2 Rumble, SEGA BASS FISHING, F! World GP, RESIDENT EVIL CODE VERONICA - the greatest and most involvingly terrifying game of the series to date, then the fantastic SOUL CALIBUR - kicks Tekkens behind aswell as Tekken Tag on PS2, don't forget the impressive CRAZY TAXI, Sonic adventure, POWERS**TONE, NBA 2K, UEFA S**TRIKER - MILES BETTER THAN FIFA!!!, the list goes on, and on. Don't forget that the Dreamcast has built in modem and the internet cost is the same as a local call - 1p a minute! Fabulous. Then there's the DC keyboard, the new mouse and new coloured pads and VMUs available soon. Dreamcast also will get a DVD drive before the end of the year and will be priced at a low low sub £150! So, ask yourself, is it worth waiting for a PS2 whose games are absolute SH*T? Or shgould I get a Dreamcast which boasts graphical capabilities that will never be seen on PS2 - ever. You can also get DC games form Gameplay.com and GamesStreet.com for less than £15!! (at gameplay anyway!)

I swapped a ps console for my N64, but I would never do it again, just incase it broke, obviously it wouldn't be my fault,(bad parts on the ps) but I could never get rid of my games.

Ohhhh please tell me Zelda 2 has a multiplayer. One with computer controled as well as human controled oponents. The combat mode on the original (original N64 anyway, oh, the gameboy one was a true classic), the z-targetting was fantastic. The bosses, and the dark Link in the magic room with a lake, oh that was good. I'm really considering getting an N64, I play my friends to death whenever we swop (with my PS) for a while. Everyone says it's all but dead, and I should wait for Dolphin, or whatever they name it, but Zelda 2, Perfect Dark, (providing Z-2 matches the original and PD lives up to everything I've heard), still, you know what they say about a fool and his money.

Oh, and I'd recomend temporarily trading consoles with your mates to everyone. All the best of the other gaming side with none of the cost. Assuming your all N64 owners here, root out people with other consoles. You'll love it. People you trust with your plastic baby anyway.
