Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

Preach on Brothers.

PS2 only has GT2000 that's worth any consideration, and you know that will play exactly the same as the 3 year old PSX version with nicer visuals (I'll take Metropolis Street Racer instead, at least it's something new). MGS was overrated and by the time we see MGS2 I'll be tucking into a new Mario game, on the coolest controller ever, with a decent 3D camera.

As for X-Box, if Gates seriously thinks that I'm going to buy a games console from the company responsible for mother fcuking Windows, he is deluding himself. X-box will probably need 50Mb of RAM just to cope with its OS.

Nintendo make the best games in the world, it's like Poof Daddy's PS2 to Flavor Flav's Gamecube...... "Don't believe the hype, boyeeeeee!". Put another way, why smoke Sony's s***e Moroccan soap bar when you could have a toke of Nintendo's hydro-grown sensi buds?

Can't wait that long??? Do the games world a favour and buy a Dreamcast. They're cheap, plentiful and they've got by far the games for at least the next six months..... Shenmue, MSR, F355, Powerstone 2, Space Channel 5, Virtua Tennis, Samba Di Amigo, Jet Set Radio..... plus the few PC games that are worth bothering with but with decent controls and a stable frame rate...... all for £150 ?????? Bargain if you ask me. £300, on the other hand, will get you a mock-eighties VCR with 2 joypad ports and and a host of uninspired, samey sequels. Nintendo may be king, but Sega deserve your hard earned too. You won't be disappointed and you WON'T be playing Tomb Raider, FIFA, Ridge Racer, Tekken, Res. Evil, etc. etc. etc. yawn,,,,,

Whoa!! This turned into quite a rant and rave. But anyway - Screw PS2 and get yourself a DC to while away the long months until Mr Miyamoto puts a smile back on our faces. As for X-box........ D'oh!

and remember..... Senor Herer...... he care......

Wouldn't it be cool if the Dolphin/Game Cube allowed you to be able to play some of the games with a light gun. Imagine playing action packed shoot 'em ups like Dolphins/Game Cube's own version of Golden Eye, or going round in Perfect Dark 2 with a real gun in your hands feeling the kick as you pump your enemies full of lead. Wicked!

Nintendo have always gone for quality and not quantity. they also go for what the people are demanding. They do all there Market research before making and releasing Nintendo games and that's why some games only come out in Japan or USA!

I totally agree. I think th N64 had so much more potential. What happened to all the great Nintendo games.

Instead of making a new console they should just make the great games like they used to.

Nintendo were all about great games, not just fancy graphics and SFX but gamplay and lastability.

Where are all the Konami games, like Probotector 64 and could you comprehend a 4 player Double Dragon game!!! oh my god!!

The N64 just has a whole load of crap sports games.

So the new 'Game Cube' will only be any good if it has some 'real' quality games.

Why are Nintendo making a new console anyway? I remember when the N64 came out, it was the console to end all consoles, the be all and end all, the master machine. Remember the spinning N? It blew the Playstations graphics away! And all this came with the promise that the Super Nintendo would stay alive, releasing Donkey Kong Country 3 just a few short months before the arrival of the N64 tried to prove that we hadn't seen the last of the machine which brought us Street Fighter 2 and Super Mario Kart, was all this too good to be true? Damn right it was. And to top it all of, after I waited for hours outside Toys R Us just to make sure I got this wonderful machine, they drop the damn price! And not just by a little bit a year later, no, they chop off £100 a few months after I bought the machine. I won't bore you with even more complaints about Nintendo's pricing system, I'll just get back to the point. Nintendo shouldn't make a new machine, they should just make more games for the N64. As far as I can tell the new aim of this company isn't to make great games for people like me to play, but to make great consoles that inevitably end on the scrap heap in a few short years. Nintendo have always made the best games, but I'll be buying the new Microsoft machine, they have the money and the power, and hopefully they'll wipe out the compatition and I'll be able to spend my money games and not machines. As with everything, only time will tell.

Bank details? You shouldn't give away ANY bank details to anyone unless it's your bank your giving the details to!

If you do then chances are you'll lose everything in your account and wont get a single penny!

secondly what has this got to do with Nintendo??????

Analogue controller? Oh yeah the analogue systems that were copied by Sony! Aren't you forgetting that Nintendo are the ones who thought of the Playstation in the first place!

Nintendo weren't always in direct competition with Sony! There was Sega who lost virtually every battle but at least they have produced better quality hardware then the Playstation!

Enough said!

Sony are trying to rip off there pSX customers with a stand for their new console as it keeps falling over! They have charged the equivilent to £30 in Japan for a plastic stand!
Nintendo hasn't!

Sony are trying to rip off there PSX customers with a new PlaystationOne! It is virtually the same but slightly smaller and can't use the link up and can only have up to 2 players!
Nintendo have had four player games on the N64 and now Gamecube without extra cables needed!

Enough said!

You only looked at the good properties when evaluating the PS2 against the Gamecube!

I'm never going to buy a Sony console in my life!

This game is definitly not the best, but as far as i'm concerned it's pretty good and keeps up the Kirby name. A lot of my friends have it and agree that it's good, too.
It's good for all ages, because some parts are really easy and some very challenging, escpecially when it comes finding some of the crystal shards. Kirby has lots of awsome powers also such as a refrigorator and fireworks. The graphics are pretty good, and so is the music. The only downsides are, it's a side shifing game (but you can go back), and you need a code for a shard. Hopefully some of you people who get it can get the code. I haven't yet though. If you like Kirby though, you should definitly get this game!
