How long do people think the N64 has left to live?
With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?
Cooky
Nintendo has been making game systems for years, since the 80's. Then
along came old sega thinking, "I can make everybody hate me just by creating a company rivaling the all powerful nintendo." Why would they want to do that any way? Oh well, better quit making entirely rediculous remarks about sega's stupidity and get back to the all hail nintendo stuff.
Nintendo has been on the dolphin project since '98. But when sega
heard about it, they hurried up and made a new stupid console, that is no better than the N64, but costs 200 dollars. Why would any body buy it for 200 dollars? In fact, sega hadn't made any new console for so long that some people thought that it was shut out of business, something they should have done long ago. Did I mention that Dream cast sucks?
Playstation, was okay for its time, after all, it was released a couple of years before N64, but there is no excuse for making new games for the console. And I am not paying 400 stupid dollars for Playstation 2, even if it plays DVDs. What makes Sony, a company that isn't even dedicated to video gaming company, think that the puplic is going to pay 400 dollars of their money for a lowsy 128-bit console that doesn't even use curved polygons, and only has 2 game controller ports. Playstation 2 puts a bad name in next generation consoles.
Nintendo gamecube is much better than the above 2. First of all, you have a connection to the internet, by use of a 58k modem which the console comes with. At the nintendo convention or something like that, they put 128 700 polygon Super Mario figures walking around aimlessly with even artifitial intelligence on a screen without the slitest hint of slowdown, without using 1\3 of gamecubes power. I think it is pretty cool how they made it the size of a clock radio, but no one else really cares about the size. Personally, I think it's worth waiting until October 2001 for this amazing... um... er... thing.
And also, I don't just hate nintendo's rivals, I hate Pepsi. Pepsi thinks that they're so much better than Coca Cola. I think that all that Pepsi does is take the products the coke company makes and add sugar and caffine. But I can't get into that subject because this isn't what this newsletter is for.
And don't forget the holy words I speak.
The weapons include mag60, scorpian launcher, emaciator, napalm gun, crossbow, inflator, shotgun, assault rifle and many more.
Round up: Good enough, but due to opposition(perfect dark, goldeneye)it wont get a look in.
