How long do people think the N64 has left to live?
With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

BUT, Sony don't make their own games which show they don't really have the experience to cope with big decisions and huge amounts of money, they decided to pay other companies to make the games and if they are bad the game producer pays the price and Sony make more money, whereas nintendo know what their customers want and if they are loyal they are rewarded with excellent games, and why do all PS owners keep on coming up with two names, Gran Tourismo and MGS!! are these the only good games? I could make this letter fill the whole page up if I wrote about all the Excellently made games on the N64
Well, for a start you need a pretty fast PC to cope with the emulation. Then, to make it more legal (as opposed to completely legal, the jury is still out on that one) you need to own the actual game cartridges that you download. Oh, and the downloads will probably take ages with a standard 56k connection. Lastly, you can't play four player games.
The good points though are; Having games on a nice monitor, so the graphics look crisp and clear. Having a console that doesn't take up any physical space and also having the games at hand to choose when you want them. If you have a powerful enough Laptop then it's also portable!
Of course, Nintendo still frown on such activities, and rightly so as piracy can be acheived easily, all you have to do is download a game you don't own and away you go with the eye patch and wooden leg!
Other Nintendo Systems don't have so many problems with resources, the NES and SNES emulators work on fairly low-spec PCs and Macs and they are there everywhere you look on the web. The games are pretty easy to find too and it's great to play all the old classics. However, the subject of whether it's right to play these without owning the originals (even NES stuff from ages back) is still lurking there.
What are other people's feelings on Nintendo emulation? Do you own any emulators? What are your experiences?
