Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

Max Griggs is the chairman of 3rd division rushden and diamonds. Nen park holds 9000 and is a very good small stadium. Rushden may get promoted, and to answer your question Griggs owns Doc Martens

Where the heck does Rushden get 6m from? Their stadium holds a pathetic 6000 people. The board must be very rich and stupid.

Can't believe we got to wait until February, but at least there are some good games coming out on the Gamecube to pass the time away.

anyway just one my first game in ages and bought Matthew Blinkhorn, he seems to have scored in almost all the games he's played for me :)
...now I have to somehow salvage my season and get some money to put in the transfer fund

I bought Vieri from Inter for £27m. In his first season he scored 39 goals from 44 starts. I then bought Morientes for £5m (£20m after 50 apps) he scored 25 goals from 38 starts.
I then sold Morientes after 49 apps for £16m and bought Ronaldo for £22m and he has only scored 9 goals from 23 starts! In my opinion buy Morientes NOT Ronaldo.
P.S Ricardo Quaresma CAN become one of the best players in the game if you buy him when he's young and play/train him well, he starts at Sporting (17 yrs) costs' about £1m-£2m
