Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

Iam liverpool, I am in my eighth season and currently 9th. I have won the champ league twice and have neva failed to reach the last 8. This seanson is going from bad to worse. I drop to 9th and owen is out for 3 months, my players have all lost confidence in me and lots want to leave y? its a temp blip how annoying. I got to play players i dnt normally cus they are the only oones with good morale. Has this happened to ne one else?

yep, i am currently liverpool in my eighth season,
i won the title 3 times, but the current season i am in iam ninth 6 points off the top.
Its prob becus owen keeps gettin injured. My goalkeepers are inconsistant n my strike force average age is 20.
Plus i sold aghahowa for 25 million to dortmund n he was my only creative force via ronaldinho.

Only bad season i had was a weird one. Decided to take over at Villa halfway through season and brought them up from 15th to 2nd and because i lost to Birmingham at the end of the season they said the result was unacceptable and i ended up getting fired the next day.

Oh yeh, hell, i've got the sack twice from Sheff wed. Was quite strange. I went a period of winning the League 8 seasons out of ten, and then I suddenly finished 8th and they bloody sacked me! The bad season was bascially down to me being too greedy. I sold my best two midfielders for over £50M and replaced them with teenagers...

Havnt played CM for ages though. I guess i'll save myself for CM4 or i might take a look at CM 02/03 on the xbox if i find a copy cheap.

My favourite file is my current rushden file. i'm in the premiership. i used to have vieri and nakata. Damn arsenal. Everytime a players contract is unprotected they dive in. Maxim Tsigalko is my best striker scored about 40 goals, then arsenal bought him then i bought him back and he got top goal scorer in the world cup.
My best midfielder is probably Andres D'alessandro. Although I have a right winger called nick philips. He came through the youth and he is in the England squad. My goalkeeper is gareth powell. He is the england number 1. thats about it.
I'm in 2010 I think.

Does everyone playing this game go through a bad season?

Im about 5 seasons in as my comp is pretty slow
Im Arsenal and have some superb young players
A must buy for anyone would be Eldar Hadzimehmedovic. If you train him a lot he will be superb, plus you need Jermaine Pennant, he is amazing.

Just starting my 8th season at Liverpool. Just won my third Premiership in a row and have some serious midfield rebuilding to do with a couple of shock retirements. Since I started, I've won 12 cups and 3 league championships. I won everything one year.

oooh, I got the TV money at the end of the first season, way more than is going to be in champ man 4 due to the ITV deal fiasco. bought Jason ('hes got a pineapple on his head) lee during the closed season now we seem to be scoring a lot more now :)
