Hi, i need help on this topic. At the moment i have a 56k modem which gets very annoying. And the pings i have on some online games are terrible.
So i am considering getting a faster connection. So far i have seen The blue yonder cable one, which is avaliable in my area. And a few Adsl providers, but they seem to be more expensive. Can you suggest any good ones to me, because i dont know much on this subject, and wouldn't want to get one that was always slow, and had technical difficulties.
So which are my best options ?
Thanks , Dave

Yes, you're here. Hi :)

Broadband is much more fun than using a modem.. although going back to a modem after a weekend of broadband will be hard.. *grin*

Hm, post count uppage. Rar.

I have just received the conformation letter from Blue Yonder, and it says to ring a number if a Nework interface card is needed, but we told them we needed one when it was ordered, should i still ring up making sure they are bringing one, or should they have a few with them anyway ?
Also it says i need a copy of my operating system, but i haven't got a copy of this on cd, i only have a boot disk which takes ages, is that enough ? and why do they need it ?
Would be greatful if anyone who has had it installed already could answer my questions. Thanks :)

'twas not a problem good sir, I hope you enjoy it and that I too soon join the information superhighway rather than this rather ridiculous information B-road.
