Hi, i need help on this topic. At the moment i have a 56k modem which gets very annoying. And the pings i have on some online games are terrible.
So i am considering getting a faster connection. So far i have seen The blue yonder cable one, which is avaliable in my area. And a few Adsl providers, but they seem to be more expensive. Can you suggest any good ones to me, because i dont know much on this subject, and wouldn't want to get one that was always slow, and had technical difficulties.
So which are my best options ?

my situation:
I had a dedicated phone line (£10 a month) and Blueyonder (anytime equivilent) £10 a month ISP, so £20 a month, and Blue Yonder is shocking, my next dor neighbour has it and keeps restarting his PC because he thinks it keeps crashing.
so, anyway, I was paying £20 a month, so £6 extra for Broadband for 9x faster ISP and I never having to connect to the internet again, also because it's not going through a phone line, the normal land line phone can be used atthe same time, all for £6 extra a month. if you can get it, i'd recommend it.
ASDL from what i've heard is pretty much the same price and more as Broadband, but a slower connection.
but that's me, I don't know what your paying at the moment, it might not be worth it, go to a Telewest showroom and try it out, you'll love it.
