So i am considering getting a faster connection. So far i have seen The blue yonder cable one, which is avaliable in my area. And a few Adsl providers, but they seem to be more expensive. Can you suggest any good ones to me, because i dont know much on this subject, and wouldn't want to get one that was always slow, and had technical difficulties.
So which are my best options ?
Thanks , Dave
good thing about ADSL is the ADSL line and telephone line are all in 1 so people can still use the phone when your online all through 1 phonline cool huh oh and don't forget to buy a filter for all your phone sockets.
then play me.
also £140 for a router? don't Netgear sell them for £100? me like Netgear, but I think I need more than 1 pc before I get one, I can see that being more benificial.
You pay for your line rental from BT and £23.44 (from 1st April) to Pipex. That includes allways on unlimited access and you can use the phone on that phone line at the same time as the internet.
You do need a modem, they start at around £70 for the basic PCI models, but I'm ordering a £140 Asus router so I can use the ADSL over all my network. That and its nice and flashy, bit like me!!
Pipex-£23
BT-£10
Modem-around £100
