I have just picked up a GameCube with Logic 3 Memory card and Star Wars Rouge Squadron! The controls are quite easy to get used to although swapping between my Xbox and GameCube is going to be hard after playing a long time on each. Star Wars is very good so far although the Training mission is a bit poor! I have done the first two parts of mission 1 where you have destroy the towers and kill the ships but the 3rd part is VERY difficult! I keep blowing up when the 3 enemy ships turn up behind you, any ideas on how to lose them? I am going to find information about connecting it to my 5.1 AMP but for now its back to Star Wars!

Monkey Ball IS a great game, but it's far too hard for me and I don't have the patience, so I don't play it that much.

Doshin the Giant any good? It looks very original but IGN didn't like the game that much. Worth buying or just a rental?

Jedi Knight 2 is out on the Xbox so any Multi-Format games I am getting for my Xbox. I am going to go and rent a game from Blockbusters tomorrow and I am thinking of renting Die Hard or Eternal Darkness, any other rental ideas?

My gosh Maverick, you're on a roll tonight. I totally agree with that too.

Monkey Ball 2 has got my attention for some reason though, Even though I thought the first game was pretty boring.

Got it for Christmas. I had great fun in the first two levels, and I'm yet to start the mission in which you infiltrate the mining facility. It's been in my GameCube for ages - but not for the single player. I've been playing away at the Jedi Arena with light sabers and force powers all holidays. So. Much. Fun.

Monkey Ball? It's got a few fun mini-games including monkey bowling, and monkey target (launching, then falling onto the highest target possible) but then again there's a few crap ones (monkey golf, billiards, fight and race are all boring).

Then there's the single player. Apart from being quite repetitive, it's amazingly hard on the higher levels and you'll just get bored. You won't be playing it for very long. You should buy Mario Party 4 instead, or wait for Monkey Ball 2 which is supposed to be much more refined.

Super Monkey Ball just isn't worth it.
