I have just picked up a GameCube with Logic 3 Memory card and Star Wars Rouge Squadron! The controls are quite easy to get used to although swapping between my Xbox and GameCube is going to be hard after playing a long time on each. Star Wars is very good so far although the Training mission is a bit poor! I have done the first two parts of mission 1 where you have destroy the towers and kill the ships but the 3rd part is VERY difficult! I keep blowing up when the 3 enemy ships turn up behind you, any ideas on how to lose them? I am going to find information about connecting it to my 5.1 AMP but for now its back to Star Wars!

meh? I hate it when that happens though, you NEARLY get a medal (I still haven't got one as I keep missing out in accuracy) but miss it by 1% or so.

Me thinks so. You can't get any higher than 100%

The stat for Targetting computer at the end, the more you use the targetting computer the lower the stat gets. So basically don't use much.

The golds aren't that hard to get once you get all the upgrades from around the levels.

Killer 7 rules!

If you go back far enough on Cube Europe there is a video of it.

I just tried playing rogue leader again, I got 1% and 60 enemies off a gold medal on the first level.

91 Enemies! It's all just come flooding back how ridiculously hard these gold medals are.

Cheers Tiltawhirl and Whitestripes, I can't wait to start playing this properly later tonight! Remake of MGS1? That would be even better because that way I can have Substance and MGS1 :) I have completed MGS2 twice and the first game about 5 times but MGS1 on a next generation console would be mind blowing. I am going to reserach Killer 7 now and see what it is about.

Man this Star Wars game looks and sounds so cool. I've seen the Battle of Hoth in action and it looks really really good.

Well you'll love the last (normal) level then. You have to rocket through the Death Star vent shaft things to blow the core up. And then escape the explosion.

I like things that have a Star Wars feel about them

You wait for the Battle of Endor, that level's so much like the films.

Also the Death Star 2 attack run level is sweet as well.

that sounds like a load of balls

Why don't they just realise Substance on the Gamecube?

There's also rumours that Konami will be announcing a Gamecube exclusive remake of MGS1 at E3.

Only a rumour though.
