Might just be a load of bull, but my dad says it was on TV that a piece of software has been developed that allows any modem to work 5 times faster than was currently thought possible. So 56 K modems with the software can reach around 250K.

Would that be fast enough to work on Xbox live? And if not should Ms not allows people witht he software to use Xbox Live? I mean, it would be alot less hastle to get the software than getting Broadband and the increased costs.

That is- if the software exists. Anyone know anymore about it?

PS- Its getting way to quiet in here.

On saturday (yesterday)...... I went into my local Gamestation and looked around with my mates... while they were all looking at the Playstation 2 section, I wandered over to the depleting Dreamcast section, which are all second hand DC games. Anyway, I looked through the pile of DC games and I saw some classics:

Ferrari F355 challenge
Jet Set Radio
Resident Evil - Code Veronica

I was wondering If those games are worth getting if

a) I already have JSRF
b) I already have MSR
c) Im not too keen to resi evil games, but ive heard this is really good!!!

Those are choices I really need to make. Can someone help me with them please...

ALSO..... While I was there I picked up a second hand copy of ESPN International Track and Field for £5.99. Its a very fun games, however it is the worst looking Dreamcast game I own!!!!! The graphics are apaulling for Dreamcast!

I was just wondering, if anyoen else owns it? If anyone does, then please help me with this question.... In IT&F for PS2, Maurice Green is in the game, however is he in the game for the DC version? Cos to me, the DC games is exactly the same as the PS2 version, but with worse graphics!

Thanx.

Looking forward to the release of GBA SP, but just need to know, will the link up cable be able to link the new GBA with the old one, so you can have multiplayer with a new and old GBA game?

May sound stupid, but no-one else has explicitly said that it does.

Over and out.

Iv'e won 35 games.

You haven't.

Apparently, according to Gerrid

45 Meka Dragon -- Tribute hates him because of his Gad winning waze.

That's nice isn't it?

In fact, I even got an email from Tribute/ Idlewild that simply contained a few words.

"I detest you."

Well if anyone reckons that they hate me, people that I've never even held a conversation with, you really think I'm going to care?

Think I'm going to lay away at night, crying into my massive pillow?

Well I'm not.

I really don't care about the majority of you people. There are those that can write things that are entertaining, or those that will contact me on MSN, and be thoroughly pleasant, those that appreciate it when they read something good on these forums (I'm not going to list people, I'll miss someone out and offend someone I don't want to).

But then there are you others. All you do is complain. Wait for a newbie to arrive, then criticise everything that they do. Perhaps you'll get a bee in your bonnet about notables, that's always entertaining, and oh so predictable.

You know what, I used to say that being a notable doesn't make me any better than the rest of you. Well sod that. I AM BETTER than a lot of you. Those sneering nobody's that bring nothing but their contempt for their pathetic existance to these forums. Those that bring no joy to the forums, no entertainment, they just exist to be part of the debris that floats amongst the genuine talent that really does exist on these forums.

Turn your nose up because you didn't win for your uninsirational piece of crap you wrote, almost exactly the same as your last post that didn't win. Take out that frustration on others, might as well, you've lowered yourself already, might as well get right into the sewers.

I've won games, because the staff here like the things I write.

You think that's a reason to hate me?

Eat my waste, you're scum.

Zombie-
Zombie-walking-
Zombie-walking-running-
Zombie-walking-running-sprinting-
Zombie-walking-running-sprinting-flying-
Zombie-walking-running-sprinting-flying-falling-

..... head-first through the ghostly clouds.
Down, down & down.
Like a bullet of steaming flesh.

The groundscape constellations of a monster metropolis approach.
Tommy Rot the Zombie continues to tumble.
His breeches rumble.
Golden pennies flood from his pockets creating precious twisters.
Down, down & down.
Until,
*RiNG-A-LiNG-DiNG* sounds the doorbell of the bookstore.
Tommy Rot grinds to a serendipitous halt and surveys the scene.
-----------
-Shopkeeper behind counter studying porn rag with magnifying glass - irrelevant.
-Man leafing through book entitled 'Eugenics & the Nazi Blonde Beast' - irrelevant.
-Young girl defacing Lady Diana posters - irrelevant.
-Brown dog licking its own knackers - irrelevant.
-Two old ladies huddled in a corner whispering.... - hmmm, *SiNiSTeR!*.
-----------
Tommy drags his club-foot over to where the codgers are and turns his good ear to their hushed chatter.

Old Lady 1: So, what did you do?
Old Lady 2: I popped a hungry ferret down the strides of a stern marksman as he was taking aim.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Penelope do?
Old Lady 2: She guided a naked sleepwalker into the rowdy atmosphere of a crowded pub.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Betty do?
Old Lady 2: She entered an arm-wrestling contest with a spike deviously concealed in her palm.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Doris do?
Old Lady 2: She visited a palm reader after rummaging through cow dung.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Lottie do?
Old Lady 2: She botched a jovial sing-a-long by inviting a despised villain.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Emily do?
Old Lady 2: She ventured into a tavern's crowded snug and let rip a rasper.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Florence do?
Old Lady 2: She released a swarm of buzzing blue-bottles during the funeral service of a respected citizen.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Maureen do?
Old Lady 2: She floored a pacifist monk with a flying roundhouse kick.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. And what did Veronica do?
Old Lady 2: She cunningly concealed a dead-man's scotem in the salad bowl at a village get-together.
Old Lady 1: Hur hur. When is the next assault planned for?
Old Lady 2: On the coming full moon, October 13th.
Old Lady 1: Splendid. I shall prepare with foresight and precision.

Unseen hands push Tommy away. They usher him out of the shop. They flick his leathery ears.
Beside the traffic-jammed-horn-honking road, a white elephant waits.
"Sweetie, you're late" the beast chirps. "Master John Paul will not be a happy camper. Jump on pumpkin, and ride me to the Master."
-
Two blocks away in the basement of Burger King, His Holiness the Pope paces up and down looking at his Rolex.
"Where in the name of Lucifer has that Zombie got to?" he mumbles, as he slips off his boxer shorts and snuggles up to a drugged Cliff Richard in a four-poster bed.

Here you got try and solve this! (parr is not allowed to enter contest)

1/x = 3/2x + 1/(x+1)

so in words
1 over x = 3 over 2x + 1 over x+1
solve it by the end of today!
