Selling my Gamecube on Ebay, and no this is not some advertising thing with a link...
My continued boredom of the console, with games I don't enjoy, has led me to this, along with my love of the X Box which has so far not disappointed me, and actually has more than 3 games coming out this year that I want, which aren't ports.
I'm not saying it is a better console - it is in my opinion - just that it suits me better as the gamer I am, plus I can't afford to run two consoles and still by all the game I wish for them..*eyes Steel Battalion on Xbox*...
Adios, like Rare, I'm waving goodbye to Nintendo :P

So you can hardly state Xbox live as a reason for Unreal Champoinship (Unreal Tournament 2003 is a far superior game) and Operation Flashpoint being better on Xbox when the control is vastly reduced.

And a very old clone of a Dreamcast game.
Much like Shenmue 2.
ANyway, I am renting Eternal Darkness on Friday after my mocks and with my results next week my Mom and Dad will treat me to that and possibly an Xbox game. I am thinking of Sega GT 2002 or Mech Assault but I was hoping for Panzer Dragoon to be released before Febuaury but apparently it now has a March release?! I want a football game for either my Cube or Xbox and with Pro Evolution 2 not due out for a while I don't want to wait so I think I might go with Eternal Darkness for the GameCube and Fifa 2003 for the Xbox, what do you think?

I don't know what Hitman game you played, but there was no bullet time in Hitman, unless you mean the slow motion when you get killed, which is hardly revolutionary or anything like Bullet time.
And since when was a thrid person action game considered an FPS? SInce first and third were the same thing?
And perhaps Deus Ex was over hyped but that doesn't mean it's not a good game.
It would easily make my top twenty games of all time, and I should think you would srtuggle to find a top 50 withou Deus Ex in, as I am sure even yours would include it.
And, Tribute, stop trying to argue, you really are quite rubbish at it.

You just contradicted what you've said about the Xbox, And I agree with what Alastiar is saying.
Splinter Cell GC will be a port, But who gives a monkeys, Consoles have ported games. Xbox has many original titles so don'tbe going around claiming all Xbox games are ports.

Splinter Cell
Coming to GC soon

It has all the extra levels available for download on it.

YAYAYAYA!
Somebody else saw it too!
YAY!
And Shogun - Rules.
Full stop.
I want Medieval....
> Belldandy, Howmuch for the GC. URL please........
Email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the URL, don't want to post it here as I don't know if SR allow it.

And here is a point - you'd need a top notch graphics card just to play Halo on your PC, a game that will soon be over a year old on the Xbox. Your monitor will give you a better picture quality, but is unlikely to be as big as most of the TV screens people are using for games with their Xbox.
> Dead or Alive 3?

Well actualy no, and the Gamecube has nothing like it yet, maybe Soul Calibur 2 will match it, but it is a pretty old Xbox game now anyway.

Quite hard shooter for the Xbox,

Yup, but there is little to compare it to that the Gamecube has, is there ?
> Splinter Cell?
> Coming to GC soon
Yup, but MS have it for a limited time exclusive, and exclusive Xbox Live content download. Even so, probably will be little different to the GC version, apart from being many months later.

It's a love/hate kinda game.
> Panzer Dragoon Orta?
> What?
One of Sega's most famous games, ever !
> Unreal Championship?

Yes, but the PC does not offer an online experience like Xbox Live does - Unreals Xbox problems will soon be resolved with a patch for lag/frame rate issues that Xbox beta and Testdrive users have found.
> Perfect Dark 2?
> I think you find it is PD 0, and no, I don't want it.
Perfect Dark 2 actually - PD0 was the GC title :) Even so, it is still just a working title and I am sure Rare has a much better name for it.
> Halo 2?
> Just mentioned Halo have you not?
Go find a Halo 2 preview. Come back here. Halo is not Halo 2. The covenant, on earth. Nuff said.
> Doom 3?
> Doom was the best - by far
Yes, running on a 486 it sure does make Doom 3 look crap doesn't it ?
> Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball?
> Dead or Alive Fever?
Nope, just a game that MS of Japan is hoping will help them out, and that shows off the graphics capability of the Xbox.
> Operation Flashpoint?
> PC
Yes, but again the difference is Xbox Live.

Thats how I used to be, until I realised I didn't really want any of the games coming soon, and that I liked the Xbox Live aspect of the console itself.
> Resident Evil is one of the greatest games I have ever

It is good, but still a Psone game at heart with a control system to match. It never realy impressed me graphically - it is good, but not "oh my god brilliant" good.
On another note, I'm amazed this got so many replies, and the auctions are off to a good start bearing in mind how ebay bidders work.
