Selling my Gamecube on Ebay, and no this is not some advertising thing with a link...
My continued boredom of the console, with games I don't enjoy, has led me to this, along with my love of the X Box which has so far not disappointed me, and actually has more than 3 games coming out this year that I want, which aren't ports.
I'm not saying it is a better console - it is in my opinion - just that it suits me better as the gamer I am, plus I can't afford to run two consoles and still by all the game I wish for them..*eyes Steel Battalion on Xbox*...
Adios, like Rare, I'm waving goodbye to Nintendo :P

Oh yeh, well i bet my dad could beat up your dad!
All the fun of...doing boring paperwork you do everyday, with the added bonus of it all being about football, yippee.

Obviously you and "Mav" don't get out much. Deus Ex was well hyped, but essentially, despite claims to the contrary, it was massively linear (but gave you the impression of plot freedom), and was essentially little more than a well presented FPS. It really wasn't anything special at all. I would say System Shock II was easilly superior in terms of gameplay, and also included Deus Ex's "revolutionary" Role-Playing FPS element, years earlier...
You want an FPS with a difference, Max Payne should be mentioned. Again, a PC game first and foremost, and unfortunately, far too easy. But one of the first games to incorporate what is still today referred to as "bullet-time" slow-down (though games like Hitman had it first), and was very well presented and action packed.
Top 5 games of all time? How could you not mention Championship Manager (a game so compelling and addictive that it has quite literally ruined dozens of marriages across the world), Baldur's Gate - easilly the most original of the infinity engine games, and a superbly addictive piece of gaming it is. Shogun: Total War, turn based and real time strategy in one, with thousands of units and, of course, the teachings of Sun Tzu's The Art of War. StarCraft - the RTS game with the biggest following in history, including the C&C series. Now surpassed only in graphical terms by WarCraft III, this game is still on of the most well-balanced RTS games ever made. Hour to learn, lifetime to master type. I could rant on about decent PC games, and eventually mention Deus Ex somewhere around the 500th best game of all time. If it got that far up.

Yes.

No. I have done many reviews (over 100 on ciao.co.uk as 'Tribute') and got money for them. I got no medal.

Take a breath man! Seeing as I don't take an intrest in the X-Box, why would I know about a show that took place? And you're tagline should be 'XBox No difference' (from a PC)

I clearly haven't heard what it is - and unless it is Super Mario World, Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart or the like, I doubt it would be in my top 5.

Neo-Geo games go for $3,000 and they have got crap reviews - maybe it's because it's rare, not because of it's greatness?

I read EDGE, a multi platform magazine, from cover to cover. Don't lecture me about being GC absorbed.

Because I critise games on other consoles, does that mean I'm a fanboy? Admittedly, I am, but you shouldn't jump the gun like that. If there wss one X-Box game i'd like on the GC It'd probably be Blinx - It's the best of a bad bunch. The ONLY PS2 series I'd like on the GC is GTA3 - Not for the guns etc., because it's a great game, one of which I plan to pick up once the PS2 has gone out of fashion, and to about £75.

I love to enjoy my games, and enjoying yourself with a console isn't a sin.

The X-Box does have some enjpoyable games - unfortunately they are all on the GC. I don't like all my games to be RPG's or \FPS - I like a bit more depth than that.

And rightly so, but you shall have a bit of a wait on your hands until a Mario games comes out for the X-Box.

No, it isn't gettng all the top X-box titles, it's getting MOST of them though. And I aren't a loser - I am throughly enjoying my GC.
Wow! I have won 5 GAD's and done 36 reviews, can I collect my medal now? I have looked at my tag line but even though your infant mind won't understand what it means I will tell you. Xbox The Difference was a show in London late last year and it showed previews of the excellent games due out this year, my tag is meant to represent the show as well as acting as binary for the Xbox seperating itself from other consoles by including the Hard Drive along with a built in broadband connection. Pazner Dragoon copies from the old Sega Saturn sell at around £100 due to it being an all time classic and the best game on the Sega Saturn and early reviews show that the Xbox version has followed in the same foot steps and created and excellent game.
Unlike you I actually read and follow other consoles and now owning an Xbox, GameCube, Dreamcast and Playstation 1 only leaves me with the PS2 which I sold to fund my Xbox early last year. Stop being a CLASSIC fanboy and saying that any game that doesn't appear on the GameCube or isn't made by Nintendo isn't any good because you are wrong! Enjoying good games isn't a sin and if it is then tough because whilst developers are producing great titles for the Xbox I will always keep buying them. Its gamers like you that give great companies like Nintendo a bad name, gaming is about enjoying what you play and if you don't think that the Xbox has enjoyable games then there is something seriously wrong and you need to broaden your horizons otherwise you will end up marrying a GameCube ;)
I am not a fool and I am not an idiot, I am a gamer who will follow great games and whilst the GameCube and the Xbox keep releasing great games I will keep buying them. The only loser in this is you because you are missing out on classic titles, the PC isn't getting all the top Xbox games so that argument doesn't pay anymore.
