For everyone who I have contiually annoyed on the Nintendo forum, I have good news.

Selling my Gamecube on Ebay, and no this is not some advertising thing with a link...

My continued boredom of the console, with games I don't enjoy, has led me to this, along with my love of the X Box which has so far not disappointed me, and actually has more than 3 games coming out this year that I want, which aren't ports.

I'm not saying it is a better console - it is in my opinion - just that it suits me better as the gamer I am, plus I can't afford to run two consoles and still by all the game I wish for them..*eyes Steel Battalion on Xbox*...

Adios, like Rare, I'm waving goodbye to Nintendo :P

Dispalying your usuall incompetance I see.

The subject of the post was about graphics, nothing more, nothing less. Not about what does more things, presses more buttons, has more spangly sequins. Previously you said something about the graphics on RE not being great, when clearly they are better than any other games at the moment.

I was also not about whether you like the game or not, and I myself said graphics do not make it good, but they are important for a game of it's type.

No because what he said made sense and it wasn't anything like the mindless non sense you write :) Also unlike you I respect other peoples opinions as long as it is logical and not "its rubbish cos Mario isn't on it". Maybe you should learn from MD and maybe stop trying to start childish arguments all the time :)

Selling the Gamecube?

Your loss I suppose... Metroid and Zelda et all.

Anyway, I'd want both the Xbox AND the Gamecube.
The Xbox won't give me Miyamoto's genius and a unique style of gaming that's lost on the mainstream consoles while the Gamecube won't let me play DVD's, play Rare games, some top PC ports (not ALL of us have high end PC's) and instant online gaming (as soon as I get broadband that is).

Some people will prefer the Xbox (Alistair) others will prefer the Gamecube (I still do for the minute) but you'd be mad not to want both.

Oh do grow up Whitestripes, and at least use your own insulsts instead of those you pick up from Light on your occasional stroll into the Life forum...

Anyway, I've seen RE0 in action and it does look good, but it is still a Resi game, and I'm no fan of the series, hence it holds little appeal for me. As for nothing matches the original Resident Evil - Splinter Cell anyone ? Even Halo itself betters it because it has so much more happening on screen. Of course, great graphics do not always make a great gaming experience which is why I don't like the Resi games.

Haven't read any replies, so don't wet yourselves if I write something similar to what's already been covered.

All the best Belldandy.

I REALLY can't see the appeal of the Xbox myself. I'd struggle to list 5 games on it that I'd want that don't appear on the Gamecube. Most of that comes down to the fact that I'm not big on FPS games.

With the 'Cube I have a number of games I play regularly, and continue to come back to, and there are plenty of games in the future that excite me.

So I'll stick with the 'Cube and enjoy what it has to offer. At least you've tried it before realising it's not for you, and I hope you get a decent sum for it. At least enough to get a couple of decent Xbox games. (Can't resist) IF THERE WERE ANY!!! (Sorry)

:o)

Just about - Gran Turismo 3: A Spec anyone?

Pah. Give me 1080: Avalanche anyday.

> Halo?
Out on PC. Overrated anyway.

> Jet Set Radio Future?
Should be coming to GC soon. Good, but not amazing.

> Dead or Alive 3?
Nice beat 'em up, but can be beaten by Soul Calibur 2.

> Gun Valkyrie?
On PS2, last time I checked.

> Sega GT 2002?
Average, I won't miss it.

> Splinter Cell?
Multi-format title, there.

> RalliSport Challenge?
Decent game, but with Colin McRae 3 and others, who needs it?

> Shenmue 2?
Didn't like the original, so I doubt this Dreamcast port will do well.

> Panzer Dragoon Orta?
Very nice game that I'd like to play.

> Unreal Championship?
The 2003 edition is a very worthy substitute.

> Perfect Dark 2?
Pah. Free Radical Design are the real people behind Goldeneye.

> Halo 2?
It'll probably just be an improved Halo. Metroid Prime, please.

> Doom 3?
Out on PC, IF I want to get it.

> Dead or Alive 4?
What the? Never heard of this. Might be pretty good.

> Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball?
Beach Spikers is a class volleyball sim, so this won't be missed.

> Operation Flashpoint?
I can get this on PC, if not another format.

> Deus EX 2?
Amazing game - but out on PC too.

> Do you see what I am getting at?
I agree - the X-Box isn't comprised entirely of PS2 ports at all, but Microsoft really need to do something to secure some different, quality exclusives. At the moment, there are only two games that interest me:

Panzer Dragoon Orta
Fable
