What would you like to be in the next installment of The Grand Theft Auto series?

i have a idea (one big one) which would make every PS2 owner buy it straight away, here it is:

MULTIPLAYER----- now surely this will be put in the next game, imagine it (especially on i-link connection) you causing havoc and getting the poilce onto you both but then going in two different directions so the cops will lose you easily. This would also be helpful in doing certain missions where one of you would chase someone while the other would keep ramming the cops away from the chaser.

How the hell are you meant to destroy all those coffee stands pushing spank when the blue dot doesn't appear until you get really close. It sucks!!

Yeh but we could also have the ability to fly planes so that would be good for hanging out the windows and sniping

Plus thats where snipers of our own would come in handy. If your good at that role, you basically figure out the vantage points in the area where snipers will be and sneak to an area of your own and take them out. If they're really well positioned, get a decent vehicle with a decent driver and speed through the street to where the sniper is, the passengers get out and fly up the steps or wherever to take out the sniper.

Snipers are good for picking people off, but its not such a great situation when 2 or 3 people are running at them with machine guns firing. Close the gap quickly and a sniper is beaten. Even with other weapons at hand, they'll have to change weapons and then their still outnumbered.

Yeh it will be wicked. someone in our crew could act normal and then just casual look for campers then report back to us so we can kill them.

Thats half the fun, if you figure out where they are camping, you can take them all out at once with the rocket laucher, imagine the frags, ummmm

i loved that gun with the snipe like aiming feature with the rapid fire. i use that more than any other weapon. however there is one stumbling block for the online play and that's damn campers a common syndrome of counter-strike where someone takes up a position that can see for miles and when you walk through the area they pick you off easily after waiting 6 hours for you. the rooftops will get quite packed with campers up there with sniper rifles

yeh but they didnt have the decent weapons we had i.e rocket launcher and that really ggod machine gun

i thought the way your health was handled on gta3 was done quite well. but maybe you'll be able to pick up all sorts of bullet proof armour and stuff
