and am wondering how you would go about starting out in this field. I am just completing a degree in computers, so have a very good background in the whole subject, just sod all experience in journalism.
perhaps applying to review on websites or something would be best?
I only ask, as apart from the multimedia side of computers (websites - sound processing - video editing), there aren't many other jobs in computing I can see myself doing for any length of time (programming, network administration etc). Computer games have always been a passion.
Any input would be sweet.

So then you don't have the qualifications...if you can't write good reviews you're not going to be much use to a games magazine are you, on second thoughts, you said you were going to write for NOM so...
> You don't care that I'm saying you're not being helpful at all?
No you aren't even quoting the whole messages and when were we talking about being "Helpfull"?

Yeah you're right on both counts but I also know people in the media as I said. I know writers, presenters etc

I never said they were talking interviews I said that it wasn't hard to get an interview just that the jobs were rarely available. Wait until the jobs are available and it's easy enough aslong as you are qualified and as I said earlier a competant careers advisor will help you prepare for your interview by telling you what you need for it. Not to mention the fact that they wouldn't even consider giving you an interview without an impressive application first. After you find out that you have an interview you will be instructed on what you need to bring to your interview.

I said earlier that my reviews were crap. I devoted an entire post to it. You don't seem to read these things and keep manipulating what I say.
> Definately. I hope you'll use spell checker when drafting your CV
I have already drafted my CV and Personal Statement. Yes I did use a spell checker and I'm sorry for mispelling a word, not that I think that's petty.

Your opinion, which means balls to me by the way
> SFone isn't 'most people', he's one person.
I prefer him to you. You seem to promote fights and are good for nothing except praising yourself and fighting with other members. I'm just replying to what you typed. Once again you've come into a topic and started fighting with me you've done it before and you'll do it again...yay.
> Not act like it was the best review ever and keep going round in

Ok in this argument I've said I voided your arguments once and it wan't even to you. As I've said you just manipulate what I'm saying and don't read it. You have stopped even quoting full sentences you just put in what suits you.
> That's a great asset...I bet you think The Getaway is good too,
> right?
Never played it. Don't have the console needed. Oh and yes I do think it's better to review good things than bad things and that's just the way I like it. It's worked before and I'm happy with that. Not that it concerns you in the first place.

I am not guessing and I'm not going to justify myself to you when you've even admitted earlier you know very little about this topic. I didn's say I would sugar coat things I said I'd review good things so I don't have to be critical. For example I'd rather review The Legend Of Zelda : The Wind Waker than Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets.

Apart from the fact I said I wanted to work for NOM, I never said I was intelligent or a superior ability to write I have only made one spelling mistake that you kindly pointed out.
> You said you knew about the games industry. That is the INDUSTRY. You
> didn't say you knew how to get into reviewing games for a living.
Sigh I said I new the Gaming Industry not the Program Development industry they are totally different things that do overlap but even then they are two different fields.
> No you didn't. You just said you knew about it.
I meant to put a "," in there to show that I had learned it through reading etc Sorry for that typo. Do you want to through that back in my face too?
> So, you met NOM and talked to them is entirely different to "I
> met NOM"?
Yes, I've also met Christina Millian and Holly Vallance but only said "Hey" so I would hardly say I know about the music industry. I talked to them and I know about it.
> Memorandum's right; I'm right. You're wrong. Drop it, and Lazarou, may

Why should I drop it? Why don't you drop it? You constantly keep saying I "Boast" about having superior abilitys so why don't you just be the bigger man and drop it? Why are you talking to me again anyway? You have started fighting with me in so many topics before why don't you just leave me alone? This isn't even my topic it's Lazarou's and yet you are still arguing with me. It makes no sense.
The Blokey man fights back.
