and am wondering how you would go about starting out in this field. I am just completing a degree in computers, so have a very good background in the whole subject, just sod all experience in journalism.
perhaps applying to review on websites or something would be best?
I only ask, as apart from the multimedia side of computers (websites - sound processing - video editing), there aren't many other jobs in computing I can see myself doing for any length of time (programming, network administration etc). Computer games have always been a passion.
Any input would be sweet.

Which, as I stated, is just 'do Journalism as a degree' (which is pretty obvious if you want to be a journalist) and 'I met NOM'.

Which will leave me with nobody to rip apart. Unless Sfone wants to step up again. Ah well.

God it was a type get over it. I was in a hurry to reply to your posts. They were huge and took ages to reply to if I went through all of the points. Mistakes wwere to be expected. Anyway I am not going to even post in this topic again. I thought you had dropped the whole arguing with me thing but obviously not. I'm not going to reply to any more of this and you can do whatever you want in here. I've told the original creator of this topic all my knowledge and have no reason to post anymore.

Ok then, I can't imagine what exam board thinks that 16 year olds that can't spell 'definitely' are worthy of top marks.

I didn't say I was the top English Student I said I got top marks. there are tons of people better than me.

I live in Scotland, my exam board is the SQA, I am doing Standard Grades not GCSEs and next year I will be doing highers. That's why it's available in England and not Scotland. I just say GCSE etc so I don't have to explain all this and it's at the same level.

Maybe, I'll see what I can do.

I seriously cannot imagine what class would have you as their top English student.

Not in other schools...most let you do it FOR GCSE.

Nope, it's more filming and analysing adverts, writing essays and stuff.
I'd like to read some of these stories. I bet they're about as A* material as that 'top graded' piece Kyz posted a while ago.

I don't believe you.
