Morrowind is a fantastic RPG if you have the time for it.

So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.

Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.

Pretty straight forward really.

Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.

It better. I'd buy it just for an improved framerate.

I like to think of Morrowind as "awefully good".
Hopefully the Tribunal/Bloodmoon update will run a bit better.

It ain't that bad? Compare it to practically any console game out. It's awful.

Well I said it runs "quite smoothly", which decoded means: it runs like a juddering mess.
No, it ain't that bad, but it does stutter a bit. It gets worse the more save blocks used.

Anyone who says Morrowind runs perfectly has no idea what they're talking about - the Xbox struggles to keep it going because it's just so huge. It's glitchy, jerky, suffers from slowdown and freezes randomly. It's the worst running game I've ever experienced, unfortunately.

I really hope that somehow they manage to do something for the GOTY edition.

That can't be done... which was why there were originally going to be no expansions for the Xbox Morrowind.

What they have done instead for GotY, is put all the content into the same game, in the same disc.

I'm just wondering...

You know these Add on packs. You rekon they'll be saved to the hard drive, and you just have to insert one disc to play them?

I had all sorts of problems with Morrowind on my 1st edition Xbox - freezing, struggling to load interiors, etc. But with my new 2nd edition Xbox - not a problem. It runs quite smoothly.

The same goes for Doom 3. At this current time the developers have actually admitted themselves that the Xbox version is looking and running better than the PC version. With the proper development there aren't any limits to whicthe Xbox can't stetch to with modern technology. After watching the 30 minute Half Life video from E3 I am sure it will change the way we think sbout video games. I was literally speechless at times. 600mb + download though but...

Not it doesn't.

Even one of the main guys behind the game said that if asked which version to get, he'd say the Xbox version over the PC version because he's knows for a fact that it'll run perfectly.
