So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.
Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.
Pretty straight forward really.
Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.
And I have a demon longbow, worth 200,0000....
And loads of moon sugar - Oooo.
Damn that's good money!

I'm guessing your in Balmora at the moment.
The missions are usually carried out *around* the town, so it might be a mile away from the town.
Keep playing.
I've just been walking around stealing everyones belongings and selling them off. The first village you start in all hates me now, I keep trying to bribe them and break into their houses. Left that place and got some transport to another big muther of a town, broke into a few places and stole some stuff, then I joined a fighters guild. The leader person gave me a mission to kill some sewer rats....wherever they are
I gotta remember to keep saving my game though, I went into some magic shops and accidentally stole one of their books so I had half the beardy population go sick on me and fry my ass with fireballs. Stupid beards.
Tell me, when you join fighters guilds and they give you orders, do those order always need to be followed out in the same village/city? Otherwise I'm gonna get completly lost.

I felt this way when I started playing it.
It's because your character is so weak and has no worthwhile abilities.
It takes a while to get off the ground, but when it does there's literally thousands of things to do.
For instance, I've just created an enchanted ring which allows me to summon a "Golden Saint" [a powerful demonic female creature] to aid me in combat.
If you stick with it, it's a massively rewarding game. In fact, it's the kind of game which eclispes most other games. The word is DEEP.

the last zelda I had was a link to the past, which was supoib.
Second tip - LISTEN (well, read) to what people tell you. If you're running around looking for Fargoth's hiding place in his house, you obviously didn't listen to instructions properly. The soldier's advice was to get a view of the whole town (he suggested the top of the lighthouse) and then from dusk, watch where Fargoth goes. Try that.
Finally, if you want some purpose to the game - follow the plot. Like Zelda, there's a ton of side quests and things to do on the side (much like Fargoth and his gold stashing antics) but there is a strong storyline. Press the white button to access your journal and read your notes on what you're supposed to be doing.

You'll learn Tiltawhirl.
